We had a wonderful stay at Cedar House in Bicheno. The host was friendly, and the check-in process was smooth and easy. The location is great, with the nearby supermarket, restaurants and penguin tours that we truly enjoyed.
One of the highlights of our trip was fishing at the nearby pier, where we caught plenty of calamari and fish. It was a fun and memorable activity for the kids.
The BBQ facilities were excellent, and the outdoor dining area made our meals even more enjoyable. Off-street parking was very convenient—our large Kia Carnival fit easily with plenty of space.
Overall, we had a great experience and highly recommend Cedar House to anyone visiting the Bicheno area.

Its location was the best. The house had everything a family needed. We did do any cooking but the kitchen facilities were complete if we wanted to cook. Walking distance to the main street and to Lobster Shack and to the beaches and walks.
Lived having an extra toilet in the laundry
There was no clock in the house - just small issue
The bedside table lamp in one of the front bedrooms didn’t work.

Great property with everything you need. Beach towels were a nice addition. Lots of space for a family. Deck was lovely and inviting for home cooked meals. Bright and airy and very welcoming.
The stove didn’t work properly. Some of the burners didn’t work at all and others heated up a little but not enough to cook. Needed to make scrambled eggs for breakfast on the BBQ.
