Beachend Bicheno

Beachend was perfect for our stay in Bicheno - the location was amazing, a short walk to a beautiful beach where we enjoyed watching the sunset and saw the full moon rise. The room was very spacious, the bed was comfortable and had an electric blanket for the cooler night. The room had everything we needed and communication before from Shane was very detailed and helpful. Bicheno itself was lovely, and we had a fantastic coffee in the morning from a coffee cart! Would highly recommend a stay here.

The view was beautiful and the atmosphere was very peaceful and relaxing. The room was comfortable and we really enjoyed our stay.

It was nice and peaceful, clean and comfortable, next to sheep paddock, close to the beach where we went penguin spotting.

We stayed in the Starfish unit (Unit 1) which conveniently is the closest unit to the parking area. It is only a short walk through the neighboring private property past the munching wallabies to reach the beach. While we didn't see any penguins or one night there, it is still a nice option. We also got to see a beautiful sunrise as the unit faces east.

The facilities could use some attention. The faucet for the large sink (it would be the kitchen sink if there was a kitchen) moves freely in its opening enough to make one hesitant to use it. The frig and "kitchen" area share the same space as the bathroom, which can be inconvenient at times. Internet speeds aren't the greatest.
