Altes Forsthaus Boppard

What a lovely place! The owner showed us the apartment and was our whole stay reachable for questions. The apartment had everything we needed.

Our children were afraid of the little dogs which ran outside the apartment.

The location of the property is amazing. We were met at the property by Stefan, a wonderful host, who gave us a full tour and answered all of our questions. The property is very well managed with beautiful gardens and views towards the town of Boppard. The room was spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated with a very comfortable bed. Facilities include fully equiped and shared kitchen, laundry facilities, and an honour system of beverages in a fully stocked fridge. The tranquil and peaceful ambiance of the property is refreshing and I plan to revisit in the future.

Not booking my stay for a longer period.

Fantastische tuin met een prachtig uitzicht. De faciliteiten waren top, grote gemeenschappelijke keuken die je mag gebruiken, flesje wijn bij ontvangst en hele aardige host.

View from the room is beautiful, garden is well maintained, clean property, kitchen available. Coffee cups provided. Original building with a chapel next to it. Staff is friendly. Parking situation is good.

Sorry for the criticism, but I hope it helps to improve: Bed was creaking a lot and pillows were too thin. For me sleeping is important and we couldn’t feel comfortable due to bed making enormous noise with slightest movement. It needs replacement or fixing. No possibility to control the room temperature. There was no shower gel and shampoo. Bathroom being next to the front door of the building, outside the room makes it less of a private feeling that space belongs to us. Also due to hearing others and host walking outside the room due to creaking. All together I find the price a bit too high for the double room.
