Grosse Galeriewohnung mit Sauna "Fondels Mühle"

The combination of old features and todays comfort and modernism. And the view from the top bathroom over the railway is great. As a rail employee and train nerd this became my favorite place in the house quite soon…..

Although you can open a lot of windows, the sleeping room on the back of the house as well as the attic remain warm. But I reckon during an actual heatwave this can also be expected. And we have to address the big elephant in the room: The railway passing mere meters away from your bed. We were okay with it, but if you are a light sleeper get yourself some comfortable earbuds.

Stilvoll renovierte Wohnung in der alten Fachwerk-Mühle mit reizvoller Kombination aus alt und neu, wirklich etwas ganz Besonderes. Große helle Räume mit genug Platz auch für 2 Familien. Alles da, was man braucht und noch viel mehr. Tolle Einrichtung und alles sehr sauber. Da der Biergarten meist geschlossen war, konnten wir auch den Außenbereich mit Gasgrill nutzen, abends sehr gemütlich. Dazu tolle Lage, direkt am Startpunkt von Klettersteig und Sesselbahn, kurzer Fußweg zu Rheinpromenade und Altstadt. Für uns ein perfekter Kurzurlaub. Danke dafür!
