About this apartment rental
The SteigRhein vacation home welcomes you with two completely renovated vacation apartments in the beautiful Middle Rhine Valley.
Both apartments feature a balcony, TV in the bedroom and living room, free Wi-Fi, and a fully equipped kitchen. In addition, a seating area in the courtyard invites you to relax and enjoy a barbecue.
Filsen is located on the right bank of the Rhine in the river’s largest bend. There are ferry and train connections. Bicycle tours (bike paths available) and hikes along the Rheinsteig trail also start right outside the front door.
The upstairs apartment (65 square meters) features a large bedroom, a living room, and a bathroom with a bathtub and shower. In addition to the cozy couch, the living room also has a fold-out bed (160x200) with slatted frames and mattresses. This makes it suitable for 3–4 adults and one toddler (travel crib provided).
From the living room, you also have access to the southwest-facing balcony with a view of the Rhine.
To ensure you feel right at home from the start, we provide freshly made beds and towels—at no extra cost. You don’t need to bring anything; just arrive and relax. Free Wi-Fi is also included.
In addition to the apartment you’ve booked, you’ll have access to the laundry room with a washer and dryer, as well as to the garage where you can store your bicycles.
Filsen is located on the right bank of the Rhine in the river’s largest bend, across from Boppard.
In Filsen, there’s a Rhine ferry to cross the river, and there are excellent train connections in all directions (Rüdesheim–Koblenz). Bicycle tours (bike paths available) and hikes along the Rheinsteig trail also start practically right outside the front door. In the village itself, there’s a small village store, and in Kamp-Bornhofen—about 4 km away—there are two additional grocery stores, as well as a doctor’s office, a pharmacy, and the beautiful World Heritage-listed outdoor swimming pool. There are many castles and palaces in the immediate vicinity just waiting for you to explore them. Additionally, within a radius of just 40 km, there are numerous options for day trips and activities, such as the summer toboggan run on the Loreley Plateau, the thermal baths in Bad Ems, the Neuwied Zoo, canoe trips on the Lahn River, a via ferrata and chairlift in Boppard, and much more. Koblenz, the “city of two rivers,” with its famous Deutsches Eck and Ehrenbreitstein Fortress, as well as its historic old town with numerous shopping opportunities, cafés, and beer gardens, is also only about 18 km away.
