The terrace that looked out over the Douro Valley and village of Pinhao. Very calm, peaceful. Fresh air. The room was clean and well-appointed, The AC worked fine. It had everything once needs; however, the terrace raised the experience to a new level.
Although the room was not far from downtown Pinha0 (about 3 km), it felt much longer because of the last km of the road which appeared to have been hand built in Roman times. Very steep, very narrow and stressful to drive. Once there, I was not inclined to leave, even if it meant going without my evening meal. Two easy fix-its that would have made the experience better: a) send the info on how to get into the property sooner; b) send the instructions in English as well as Portuguese.

Bom lugar e ótima vista.
Faltou água quente. Muito longe precisa de Transfer para chegar . Acesso ruim. Longe do centro. 3 km em uma subida íngrime e inacessível.
