Nice clean well set out apartment in a busy neighbourhood. Apartment had bedrooms to the back of the premise which was good as the street was lively all night, Plenty of great eateries around close by and bars. Supermarket with 80 metres and rubbish on the corner to dispose of waste.

The instructions on how to get into the property at first were hard to follow. There was a person just hanging outside near the main door, who happened to have a key and let us in the main front door. Not sure how we would have gotten inside without that random occurrence. Its possible that the instructions could have gotten us inside, a closer up photo of exactly WHICH doorbell to ring would have been helpful.
There was a heat wave in Bilbao when we stayed there. Of course, that was outside the hosts purview, but there were no fans in the apartment, and no screens in the windows. So as a result, there were many mosquitos in the apartment, and we got very little sleep due to the heat, and the mosquitos coming into the apartment. A couple of fans, and some kind of anti-mostiquito (trap or?) would have been very helpful, esp during the heatwave.
