Well appointed and well done for the size. Would be a squeeze for 4 people sharing, but comfortable for a couple. Ideal for the week of the heatwave as it stayed very cool indoors downstairs in the stone cottage and there is a back door to open off the main bedroom. Nice outdoor area with plenty of shade.

We had chosen the location on the basis that it would be a short walk over Sappers Bridge into the village, only to find the evening we arrived that the bridge was closed, so we ended up having to drive in and out, which was disappointing. Bridge due to reopen in August I believe.

It was really nice to have the log burner even in June it went chilly at night! The basket of treats that were left for us was a really nice touch, & very kindly we were able to get in property early & slightly later departure which was good. It was nice to have a garden to sit out & have breakfast & designated parking. The correspondence from the host was very good too.

The cottage was smaller than we thought it was going to be,& it was a little further out of town than we realised,but when the new bridge is finished there will be a good shortcut to the town.

Location was excellent. Cosy cottage just as seen in the pictures. Great enclosed garden for dog. Lovely welcome basket.

Lovely property, good location, quiet. It is very cute and the welcome basket was appreciated. We really liked the log burner on cold evenings. We enjoyed staying here. Very easy to collect keys and drop off our stuff before finding parking at the front of the main house. The kitchen is small but we managed well for a family of 4 with 2 kids under 6. The only problem we had was that the Wifi is from the main house and someone there accidentally switched it off one evening, and mobile data didn't work inside the property- we had to step outside to call the property manager to sort it out, they were very responsive to our queries. It was back on the next morning, and that was the only issue we had while staying here. We would happily stay here again! Thank you!
