We loved the cosy feel of the cottage, especially with the fireplace in the evenings. It was the perfect size for 4 people for a few nights away. It was quite close to Betws-y- coed.
It didn’t have enough amenities in terms of supply of items. For example, it had a sugar canister with no sugar left and not enough wood for the fireplace for three days, or enough kindling or fire starters to light the fire, we had to buy our own. If things were refilled a little more regularly that would make for a more comfortable stay.

Cute holiday cottage with everything you need for a short break.
Overall fusty smell pervading everything.

The location was good -although I didn't realise there is a main road just outside it.

Beautiful old stone cottage but with all the mod cons needed. Stylish and very comfortable. Excellent location too. Plus, a great host who was very communicative and helpful
Very tiny bathroom. Not ideal for the larger human. My partner is over 6ft and really struggled to shower.

Lovely location, super friendly hosts, great beds and a welcome basket.
Kind of cold and damp, I think we were the first guests in a while and it could have been a bit cleaner. The shower is really small, but it all worked OK. Would have been nice for there to be some firewood when we arrived.

Great location, peaceful, woodland and views. Traditional stone cottage for four, although slightly cramped it is well furnished and with good kitchen equipment.
There is some damp on the internal lower walls, although to some extent expected from a stone cottage during the cold winter months. Be careful placing anything close by to to the damp surfaces.

The close proximity to Betws y Coed is excellent, and having a dog, the enclosed garden is a bonus. The log burner is superb. Overall a nice little cottage.
Strangely there was no coffee making facility, just a stove top or cafetiere would be fine! It was also a drawback that the central heating control had been removed, the only way to turn it on was by using the boost button for a maximum of 2 hrs which given the cottage is damp was frustrating, guests really should be trusted with the heating controls!!

Location
Poor layout with small, damp, ground floor shower cubicle. As a chartered surveyor, it is apparent the property obviously suffers damp problems evidenced by black condensation mould to lower living room walls and the number of dehumidifier boxes around the property.

The house was a little smaller than we anticipated. The shower was quite tight (small).

Beautifully decorated with a rustic charm of original features.
Super comfortable beds.
Sun trap garden for enjoying a glass of wine after a day exploring.
Fantastic host. Friendly, welcoming, responsive and helpful.
Location!! Beautiful surroundings and a short walk to the lovely town.
Tiny bathroom but you don’t spend your holiday in the bathroom!

Host was excellent, great communication on the day of arrival and nice welcome pack of goodies. Location excellent and garden a great bonus. Views from property great and great parking. Cosy and dog friendly.
Potential for more storage space within property for clothes and food.

The property was quirky and cosy- perfect location for snowdonia, the forest roller coaster and beautiful little towns near by. We got warm really quickly after being out in the rain all day. Welcome basket and cake was very much appreciated. Host was welcoming, friendly and helpful. We loved our stay.
There was quite a bit of damp- but our clothes were wet through and it’s February so not much call for having the windows open! Didn’t impact our stay at all- for 2 nights it was perfect and although small plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 children (and a dog ☺️)
