Upspot Kuching Waterfront Premium Hostel

Very convenient property in central location of Kuching at the waterfront. Property is a traditional Malaysian house cut into twi floors and we stayed at second floor. Bathroom is enough (3 WC and 2 showers) and there is a washer and a dryer per floor. We were alone at the second floor so experience was even exceptional. Also most of nearby excursions include this area as a pickup/drop-off spot.

Not so much to say, maybe more mirrors in the room but that is a small detail

no breakfast, didn't see the staff however these things didnt matter, location was excellent comfy spacious rooms, good (shared )bathrooms including laundry facilities!would stay there again

Excellent location directly opposite the waterfront. The hostel offers adequate space and good clear communication regarding check-in and check-out. Kitchen facilities were sufficient.

Unfortunately, one of the toilets did not flush properly during our visit. There was a notice on the door, but people continued to use the toilet without following the instructions to flush using the water bucket. At times, the area also smelled strongly of urine. In addition, while the dryer was working correctly, it caused clothes to smell unpleasant. Overall, the cleaning and maintenance of the bathroom area need to be improved.
