Quiikcat was a wonderful hostel, very comfortable and the owners/family are very kind and helpful. It's located close to the waterfront and a bunch of great food places, super convenient. The mixed bunk room only has 4 beds, which is quite nice. The only downside is the main street outside can be a bit loud, but even that's not too bad. For budget travellers and backpackers, you can't to wrong staying here!

From the moment you walk in, the place has a warm, artsy vibe—mustard-yellow walls, quirky cat illustrations, and locally inspired decor that give it a unique personality. The common areas feel welcoming, and the little design touches (like framed bird artwork and woven wall pieces) add charm without trying too hard.
What really stands out is how clean and well-maintained everything is. The hostel enforces a no-shoes policy, which might seem small, but it makes a huge difference in keeping the place fresh and hygienic. Even the bathrooms and toilets are impressively clean, which is always a big deal for hostels.
The staff are friendly and approachable, making check-in smooth and the overall stay more relaxed. You get that genuine, helpful vibe rather than a scripted hotel experience.

I paid RM27, and for that amount of money I can't complain. There's nothing fancy about this place, it's quirky, and it's not the best at anything, but it felt homey and genuine. It's the kind of place you stay somewhere in Malaysia, and tell people about it. I think it's because of Khadijah, the housekeeper. She's so friendly without invading your space. She listens too.

Price is very budget bunk bed， good location
But…Is partition room,not sound prove, so near to main road, i can heard car , motor sound all day 24hr , at night people sound at 7eleven opposite road.
