Peaceful retreat with ocean views!

Francesco was an exceptional host who answered all of our questions in a prompt manner. The property overlooks the ocean and is peaceful and fully equipped. The beds are very comfortable! The property is near a shuttle stop that takes you to Manarola where trains are easily accessed. The town of Volastra has two wonderful restaurants and a bodega for groceries.

Fantastic location and great facilities.

The location is exceptional.overlooking the ocean from Volastra, you are able to see 4 of the cinque terra villages. Breathtaking views, sitting having dinner on the outside table is fabulous!! Great facilities and an excellent host who offered valuable insights into the location and getting around cinque terra. An absolute bonus is being able to park a car. A short (and regular) bus trip into Manarola from Volastra and return makes accessing the rail system between villages very easy.

Luxury with accessibility to the Cinque Terre without being down in the midst of the 5 villages.

Easily accessible by local bus, far enough away from the 5 villages to be a serene vacation and respite, cute nearby restaurants in the little village where the house is, spacious, great AC, comfortable beds, easy to use kitchen, nice fridge, local mini market. Host was absolutely incredible! Our train was delayed and then there were no taxis at the stand. He came very late in the evening to pick us up from La Spezia. It was more than kind and we could not know how to repay him. He said no repayment, that Grazie was enough! So so helpful! He gave us tips and ideas for the area as well as local recommendations. Very easy to talk with and responsive.

The view from the property was exceptional. The location was extremely peaceful. The property was clean and tidy. The host remained in contact via text throughout stay and was friendly and on hand if needed.

The bedrooms were dark and difficult to air as windows were on rear pathway.

Location was fantastic, peaceful, yet so close to a fabulous walk. Fantastic place in the little village where you can pretend to be local for a bit. Bus service makes getting around easy and much better than driving and parking. Would love to come back for longer.

4 DAYS IN HEAVEN

EVERYTHING, we totally enjoyed our stay. The views were amazing and the little town of Volastra was lovely as it was quiet and away from the crowds. Our host was very informative and made himself available whenever we needed him.

The view was spectacular and the location was perfect for what we needed to escape busy towns at the end of the day. Host was very helpful and offered great suggestions for local attractions and transport options.

Stay in a paradise

Our expectations were high, but this villa exceeded them by far. The place was very clean, spacious (enough room for 4 adults), comfy and fully equipped. Francesco is so kind and always ready to help. However, the absolute highlights of the villa were its location (after a day spent in the crowded Cinque Terre villages, this place provided a peaceful escape) and its exterior - huge, well kept terrace with a beautiful garden with stunning views of the sea and nearby Cinque Terre villages. Absolutely reccommend!

L'hôte Francesco est vraiment une personne exceptionnelle! Très aimable, très à l'écoute; remue ciel et terre pour s'assurer que tout est à notre goût et très disponible et aidant. Parmi tous mes voyages, c'est un des meilleurs hôtes que j'ai connus! La terrasse donne une vue extraordinaire! Il faut marcher une certaine distance et franchir des escaliers avec les bagages depuis le stationnement (très pratique) pour accéder à la maison, mais cela en vaut vraiment la peine! En bref, endroit et hôte exceptionnels, à réserver sans hésiter.

Tolle ruhige Lage zwischen Manarola und Corniglia hoch oben am Berg im kleinen Örtchen Volastra.Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Einwohner,kleiner Laden,wo man alles bekommt,was man fürs dolce vita braucht.Guter Startpunkt zum Wandern.Vermieter ebenfalls sehr nett und hilfsbereit.Also alles perfekt.Auch gutes Lokal im Ort.
