Our home is located in the beautiful and historic Central City. We love this neighborhood and we think that you will too. Our home is minutes away from the historic streetcars that will take you to the heart of the French Quarter or into the Historic Garden District. At your doorstep are Greek revival and Victorian mansions, museums, and world-class restaurants. Walk down Magazine Street and explore the miles of galleries, antique stores, and boutiques waiting for you there. Or simply walk the other direction a few minutes and tour around the CBD where some of New Orleans' best restaurants await.



All guests after booking will receive a list of recommendations including locals favorite spots, restaurants, and activities. We will provide detailed information and guides on the surrounding area to enhance your overall experience.



Getting Around:

Our convenient location and safe neighborhood make this your ultimate travel destination. We are nestled in between the beautiful Lower Garden District and CBD while still close to most major sites. We are a 5 minute walk to the WWII Museum, a minute walk to the St Charles at Erato streetcar stop, and the home features plentiful on-street parking. While there is plenty to see and do here on foot, we are a quick 6-15 minute drive to the Superdome and French Quarter, depending on the time of day and traffic conditions.

Just returned from a perfect Mother/Daughter camp reunion. Our house was clean, comfortable and spacious for our group of 12. We enjoyed the kitchen and living area and the girls loved the hot tub. All bedrooms were comfortable and well-appointed. Most notable was the responsiveness and professionalism of the management company. Although we experienced minor maintenance issues (ie broken disposal, toilet and how to operate hot tub), they responded in minutes and resolved all issues quickly. When renting in NoLa it can be tricky due to uncertainty and safety of the neighborhoods. As stated in a previous review, the house is located in what feels like a VRBO neighborhood which we enjoyed. We felt very safe in our home and there was privacy between rentals. We didn't necessarily walk the neighborhood but found it to be very centrally located between Garden District and French Quarter which we either Uber'ed or drove in our rental car. I would highly recommend this rental and/or any of Heirloom properties.

The hosts for this house were absolutely awesome! They were so responsive to all of my inquiries leading up to our stay, and continued to be beautifully responsive while we were there. We went with our very large family for Thanksgiving week in New Orleans, along with four grandchildren under the age of five. The house handled all of the adults so well. The bedrooms are all beautifully decorated. The beds were comfortable. The bathrooms are spacious and well appointed. The kitchen was one of the most well appointed for the VRBO‘s I’ve been to, from pots and pans of all shapes and sizes, to beautiful serving dishes, to measuring cups, etc. Everything we needed to family meals. The huge dining table was a big plus for our crowd. The other big winner was the pool and spa situation. Our grandchildren and the adult children were in the 90 degree water for hours on end each day. Last, location, location, location. We were a block away from Saint Charles Avenue and a street car stop, and we were able to go uptown to Audubon Park and Audubon zoo on the street car, as well as take the street car downtown for our visits to the French Quarter and the aquarium. It was just the perfect house for us.

Great house for a large group, we had 8 guys for Jazz Fest and there were plenty of space/beds for everyone. It is particularly great that there is seating for everyone, which is rare when you get to larger group numbers in NOLA. There is one issue with the rental - the spa equipment is so loud it renders it basically unusable. Unfortunately, there are several of these type of units in a long row, so if your neighbors decide to use theirs you just have to deal with it. It sounds like an old lawn mower and is right next to the back porch. I still gave 5 stars because other than that you'd have a tough time finding a better house for large groups.

Needs a few minor things. Kleenex, railings on pool, nice spaces such as baths. Floors weren’t the cleanest. Nice coffee. Kitchen need towels. Good size for everyone.
