Our home is located in the beautiful and historic Central City. We love this neighborhood and we think that you will too. Our home is minutes away from the historic streetcars that will take you to the heart of the French Quarter or into the Historic Garden District. At your doorstep are Greek revival and Victorian mansions, museums, and world-class restaurants. Walk down Magazine Street and explore the miles of galleries, antique stores, and boutiques waiting for you there. Or simply walk the other direction a few minutes and tour around the CBD where some of New Orleans' best restaurants await.



All guests after booking will receive a list of recommendations including locals favorite spots, restaurants, and activities. We will provide detailed information and guides on the surrounding area to enhance your overall experience.



Getting Around:

Our convenient location and safe neighborhood make this your ultimate travel destination. We are nestled in between the beautiful Lower Garden District and CBD while still close to most major sites. We are a 10 minute walk to the WWII Museum, a 5 minute walk to the St Charles at Erato streetcar stop, and the home features plentiful on-street parking. While there is plenty to see and do here on foot, we are a quick 15-20 minute drive to the Superdome and French Quarter, depending on the time of day and traffic conditions.

–We try our best to accommodate early check-ins, but we want to ensure the entirety of the spacious estate is clean and prepared for arrival. We can often accommodate early bag drop for your convenience. Please inquire if this is of interest to your group!

–The pool is heated from Labor Day through Memorial Day. If you are booking dates bordering these holidays and are interested in having the pool heated, please let us know, and we will determine if this request can be accommodated with our winterizing schedule.

This property was beautiful, just as listed. A couple of the rooms are a little small, but comfortable. There were some small issues with the property (slow drain in one bathroom, internet outage, etc.), but these were promptly addressed and corrected. There was a friendly contact available via text message. The neighborhood is a gentrified community and there is clear evidence of poverty. For example, there was a gentleman sleeping in front of the house two nights that we were there. However, the street was very quiet and our family felt very safe. We went for walks and enjoyed the area. Everything was very close; within 7-8 minutes was the Convention Center, Canal St. and a Walmart, but you won’t need much from there because the house was well stocked with necessary supplies. It is more like a boutique hotel than a traditional rental home, which made the experience even more convenient. Also, we were really pleased with the lack of noise that could be heard with multiple families in the building at once. We were on the second floor and there were large families on the first and third floor and we barely knew they were there. Overall, great experience.
