About this apartment rental
Just a few meters from the Ermitage-les-Bains lagoon, this pleasant and very well-equipped apartment is ideally located, right next to downtown (restaurants, shops, and the famous Sunday farmers’ market).
Located on the 1st floor of a perfectly maintained residence on the Mail de Rodrigues (a pedestrian promenade running from downtown to the lagoon), this is the ideal spot for a sunny getaway, with a different sunset every evening… right with your feet in the sand!
The Accommodation
A 50m² one-bedroom apartment with a 10m² veranda, fully air-conditioned, comfortable, very well-equipped, and featuring high-quality amenities.
It features a bedroom with a 160-size bed, a bathroom with a walk-in shower, a separate toilet, a fully equipped kitchen with plenty of storage space, and a pantry.
a large living room with a desk and a cozy seating area featuring a sofa that converts into two 70 beds, which can be arranged as one 140 double bed or two separate single beds.
The veranda, which is well-exposed yet sheltered from direct sunlight, is the perfect spot to enjoy your meals (table for 4 to 6 people) while taking in the view and soaking up the local seaside atmosphere.

The apartment is ideally located just a stone’s throw from the center of L’Ermitage-les-Bains, with its restaurants, bars, pharmacy, bakery, supermarket, farmers’ market (Sunday mornings), and even its casino!
Ermitage Beach is a white-sand beach protected by a coral reef.
The beach area shaded by casuarina trees is where Creole families gather for picnics on Sunday afternoons. It’s also the site of New Year’s Eve celebrations that draw more than 20,000 people. Since the beach faces west, many people come here to enjoy the sunsets all year round.
Nearby Saint-Gilles-les-Bains is the island’s most famous seaside resort, with its beach, harbor, shops, restaurants, and nightclubs.
The climate is ideal all year round!
Getting Around
On foot: the town center with a supermarket, shops, and market is 2 minutes away, and the Ermitage Lagoon is just 1 minute away.
By car: 5 minutes from St. Gilles-les-Bains, 20 minutes from St. Paul, and 15 minutes from St. Leu. You can reach the Route des Tamarins in 10 minutes, from where you can easily access all the must-see sites on this vibrant island.
