About this house rental
Relax with the family or favorite small group at this peaceful retreat house. Winding oak lined drive leads to large home situated beside semi private 23 acre lake. Enjoy afternoon breezes on wood decks and enjoy restful views of nature. Turtles, ducks, Egrets, fish, and even deer occasionally come for visits on this lovely property. Its a great place to rest, unwind, and be refreshed.
The home has 3 floors, each with bedrooms and bathroom. The large open kitchen is stocked with cooking supplies.
Inside the house, each floor has at least 2 twins and a queen bed, a bathroom, plus an area where people can gather. The lowest floor has twin trundles. The main floor has an open concept kitchen and living room with connected dining room. Most rooms have either views of the lake or the oaks on the property. For outdoor seating, there are both front and back decks, as well as a covered area that overlooks a small courtyard on the lowest floor.
The house sits on 5 acres that guests are free to explore and enjoy in areas where other guests are not present.
The entire home is available to guests with the exception of a room downstairs that we use for storing supplies. Since this is a developing retreat center, the entire 5 acres may not be private. We also host rv boondockers, primitive campers, and soon, single family cabins.
We can interact (or not) with the guests depending upon their needs. We live nearby, so we can be available if necessary. However, if guests desire privacy, we will definitely honor that.

Lots of area for folks to sleep in peace and quiet after a long day racing. Plenty of outdoor seating too for unwinding. Will definitely stay again in the future.

Hi, the family enjoyed the stay. Everything was nice, neat and comfortable. We had 2 issues with bugs in the dining roo. At night the lights above the table attracted too many bugs. That area needs more insulation. We were not able to take hot showers or baths, the hot water runs out.
