Welcome to Bishop’s Beach, a 4-bedroom, 4.5-bath beachfront retreat in Bay Harbor, Galveston, Texas, accommodating up to 16 guests. Located just steps from the sand along San Luis Pass Road, this modern Gulf-front home is designed for family gatherings, group getaways, and unforgettable coastal escapes.
Take your shoes off and your feet are in the sand! Expansive decks provide plenty of room to relax, grill, and soak in sweeping Gulf views, while the living room, kitchen, and primary bedroom all showcase spectacular panoramas. Inside, modern furnishings, high-end finishes, and conveniences like central air, Wi-Fi, and cable/satellite TV create an inviting space to unwind after sun-filled days.
The open kitchen is perfect for entertaining, complete with a large eat-in island, dishwasher, oven, ice maker, and Keurig coffee maker. Each of the four bedrooms has its own private full bath, while the additional half bath adds extra convenience. Sleeping arrangements include a Gulf-view primary suite with a king bed, additional queen bedrooms, and bunk rooms ideal for kids or groups.
Set on Galveston’s tranquil West End, Bay Harbor offers a peaceful atmosphere just 18 miles from town. Guests can enjoy deep-sea and bay fishing, surfing, jet skiing, golf, theme parks, and nature trails, as well as a variety of local dining options.
This home accommodates up to four vehicles parked in the driveway or designated spaces (no trailers, RVs, or boats allowed). Carpooling is recommended. Please note: no pets are permitted at Bishop’s Beach.

The property was really great overall. Excellent access to the beach. The beach behind this property only had a few neighbors on it, not a lot of people, so everything was calm and relaxed. There are a few minor maintenance issues with the house, but nothing that made our stay uncomfortable. There was a process outside of VRBO needed to sign a release before being able to access the property that I had some trouble with. I don't know if it was an issue on my end finding the email they sent me or if the email was supposed to be sent but wasn't until I requested it. The property management was super responsive and helpful. I would definitely stay at this property again.

We had three families in the house with kids. Plenty of room and bathrooms. Great location and right on the beach.

Great house with good accommodations. The refrigerator isn’t large enough or nice enough for a house that sleeps 16. It went out during our stay, but started working again. Management needs to replace it. Not enough paper towels, trash bags, dishwasher detergent or dish soap for a house this size. We had to buy some to get through a 4 night stay. Great location with short walk to beach. The beds were soft but the sheets kept coming off the mattress. We will not stay at this property again.
