Nice property in convenient location but good luck getting responses from the host

keys were in a locked storage box. host provided pin to open. straight forward. easy. clean bed/room.

hot water not guaranteed unless you run the tap at the same time. host was however quite quick to reply to assist on that. no bin in room. noisy kitchen on ground floor that seems to run till quite late. poor communication from host with regards to supplying invoices. i have been asking for an invoice breakdown to show price per night since 11 december, they kept telling me they would send me it, it is now 24 january and they have started ignoring my messages. very frustrating as this is preventing me from claiming the money back i paid for this hotel/apartment from my employer. i will have to escalate to booking.com on this matter. disappointed and frustrated as this was a very simple request.

Looks nice, good bed, but not very practical for more than one short night stay.

Good location, nice neighbourhood, good bed, good bathroom. All looks nice on photo's. Check-in was easy (key-box with code). Quick and polite response when emailing the host.

There was no chair by the desk, no kettle, cups, coffee/tea. The storage furniture look nice on photo's but are impractical. As a lone female traveller the fact that anyone could walk inside the building (the front door is not locked), did not feel safe, even if it is a generally safe neighbourhood. The door to the room is just a normal bedroom-door with a key. You have to email the host to get access to the internet.

Comfy, cool and great location for a explorative long weekend trip!

Comfy bed and nice pleasant space to enjoy a long weekend, cool decor that makes it feel special. Big enough and provided all of our needs for a 3 night stay. The tea and coffee offering was really nice to have. It stated there was an iron in the room but it wasn’t there but asked the question and it arrived within minutes!! Shout out to Johnny for his help. The location is really accessible short walk to the centre and easy for the tram and bus stops and the neighbourhood feels very well looked after and safe, quiet most of the time but on a weekend there was outside noise from people, you are aware of the floor above but again nothing too invasive. I would stay again if visiting and would recommend for a long weekend exploring this beautiful city.

At times, usually after showering the bathroom had a very unpleasant smell sometimes damp but then worst like sewage. We didn’t mind but there is a lot of stairs and no lift one to watch out on if struggle with stairs and luggage.

For a couple of nights the room would be OK, even fun. It is not really a place for longer stays.

Location is great with easy access to the central district through a short walk or (most of the time - however we visited at a time when the annual Luxembourg Fair was being held and the bus service on ave de la Faiencerie was suspended [there is a stop right across the street from the building]). Of course bus and tram are free in Luxembourg and this substantially increases the locational convenience of the facility. Room was as eclectic, funky and interesting as pictured, bed was quite comfortable.

The accommodations were marketed as "one bedroom" with a "kitchenette". It really is simply one large room with the bath one (1) foot away from the head of the bed. The "kitchenette" was a sink, a coffee maker and tea pot. There is a "stove" but it was rendered entirely useless as no (none!) pots or pans were supplied. There was no oven or microwave so forget about heating your croissant. The refrigerator did not work for half the stay and requests for its repair went unanswered (note that the proprietor was very responsive to other requests). Simply adding a couple pots, a pan, a countertop "oven" and/or microwave would greatly increase the usability of the room. There is no TV. The building houses a pizza (delivery) business and the delivery drivers sit outside directly below the unit and talk incessantly and loudly until closing (10pm but they do hang around longer). The front door to the building is open 24/7 - it appears that its security system is unused or broken and has been for some time. The front door was often found stuck wide open allowing complete access to the building. Interior doors leading to the pizza business and a Vietnamese restaurant marked "please keep closed" are none the less propped open every evening by said businesses.

Good for what I needed.

Location was excellent for transport to city centre.

My room was very dark for such a small space- 4 navy walls in the bedroom and a narrow black bathroom. Door to outside was not locked.

Attention: no invoices

The room itself is good.

I do not advise booking this property, especially if you travel for business and need to reimburse your travel expenses, as well as if you need the bill for any other reason. You will be chasing the property for months, sending requests for the bill over email/booking.com/whatsapp, trying to get them on the phone without success, receiving the booking.com chat reply to deliver it soon/today without them holding their word. At the end, you will be losing money and have a bad feeling. I hope this draws attention of the management/booking.com. I am still struggling for already 2 months to get the invoice. Very pity because the rooms are good.

Nicely renovated though small

The building was clean and pretty inside the hallways, fancy vibe. The rooms were well renovated, either nice fixtures. The management was responsive and very accommodating, which was great. During the heat wave I asked for a fan and they brought one next day. Flexible with my late check out to catch the train. Very pleasant.

The room needed a deeper clean, some furniture was dusty etc. The room and bathroom was smaller than I expected because of how the photos are taken. It was a long walk uphill with luggage for solo female from the tram stop.

A stunning apartment close to the city!

The apartment was beautifully furnished, spacious and spotless. The bed was comfortable and the shower was nice and powerful. Even the staircase to the rooms.was stunning with some quirky wall hangings that brought a smile to our faces! The location was perfect situated just outside the city so it was a nice walk in and far enough out so it was peaceful and quiet at night.

The only slight drawback was the tap in the bathroom sink being a tad lively and splashed everywhere, as well as the hot and cold taps on the shower being the wrong way round. But, in the grand scheme of things, not really very troublesome issues!

Spacious. Good decoration. Quiet. Excellent location. Apartment 9. Comfortable bed.

Given a simple room ( number 10) on arrival instead of apartment we had booked. Had to contact owner, apartments fully occupied, offered correct apartment next day. Things missing that you expect nowadays, tea/coffee facilities, no fridge, no aircon but fan provided, dining table but no plates cutlery etc. Tricky manual shower controls. No lift. Must read the small print better next time!

Feel like being left alone in a deserted island. Will not return again.

Its location which is in the heart of the city. Convenient connection to bus and tram.

Poor service - acted like AirBnB. You checked in and are left all alone. No change of bed sheet, towel, or even re-supply of toilet paper throughout my 9 days of stay there. No cleaning of room and rubbish. The staff on site does not respond to guest’s request for toilet paper unless it is directed by the property owner remotely. Only one cup for brushing and drinking. No kettle for boiling water, etc.

Ok but admin annoying

The stat was kind of fine although the shower was not clean However I need an invoice and I requested this on Friday morning It is now Tuesday afternoon I need an invoice to make my expense claim This accommodation does not seem to cater to business travellers Which is a shame because I would stay there again if it were not for this

Awful stay - it was freezing in the room and no heating

Only location was great

There was no heating and noone from the maintanance/management responded to my requests to get any heating on - it must have been around 14/15 degrees Celcius in there - I was cold clothed and under the duvet.

Disappointing due to a very small room.

Room No 5, at the rear of the building, was quiet, clean with a big comfortable bed, very good linen, toiletries and towels.

Room No 5 is so small. Too small, it measured approx 3.5m x 3m (my estimate). The bed was so big in the small room it was difficult to move around it. There was no TV, no coffee / tea facilities ( no breakfast options) and a small table and one chair behind the door. The bathroom was very narrow but had all the essentials. While the eclectic style of furnishing is interesting, both the bedroom and the bathroom were painted in very dark colours, dark blue and dark brown adding to the sense of claustrophobia. A very poor room for the amount paid. I was glad to leave it after three night.

Room was absolutely tiny - no tea/coffee facilities, no TV . Very claustrophobic and no way could you put 2 adults in that room. Bathroom was black and had no light in the shower area. Room was not cleaned in 6 days

Boring place at night especially without TV

Clean place

No elevator, no TV, no chairs in the rooms, nowhere to hang cloth in one of the rooms, no hooks on the walls of the bedrooms nor in the bathroom. There’s nowhere to put the soap and shampoo bottles except on the floor in the shower. No cleaning material. The last evening the shower was clogged and there was nothing available to sweep the floor and remove the water except the towels. On top of that there are cooking fumes coming up through the staircase from the restaurant located in the ground floor

Very well situated in Luxembourg. And the apartment was just that bit different to make it interesting!

Very friendly and helpfull host. Gave lots of information about restaurants and places to visit. Definitely will recommend to others.

Shower faucet broken when we were there. So we can't easily control the water (can't select from the top rainshower or manual shower). Not to bad still can be used.

For us the stay was a little self indulgence with this spacious apartment with uniq interior :-)

If you like a little luxury with regards to interior design this is the place! Besides that the apartment was very spacious and is placed in a nice quiet area but within walking distance from city center - or you can use the free public transportation to get around the city and also the rest of the country. We loved this place - very clean and with quality towels and bed linen. The owner Lia was very helpful in all aspects - we will be back :-)
