Nicely decorated and the beds were comfortable. Being able to check in and out without contact is also convenient. Provided all the necessary items in the kitchen. Overall good stay for my family.
900m walk to the station was not the greatest after walking all day. The heaters didn't work that well when it was very cold. The bathroom also felt outdated.

A small but cozy traditional apartment in a quiet part of Tokyo. Several supermarkets and a very nice and very small sushi restaurant nearby. The owner gives very good and friendly instructions and support via mail. As the apartment is in a residential area, it gives an insight in the ‘real’ Japan, away from the tourist areas.
Tokyo is a very, very big city, so most places to visit take quite some time to reach. The nearest public transport is a busstop at a 5 minutes walk from the apartment and the nearest train station is a bit over 10 minutes away. It takes some effort to figure out all the different lines, tickets and means for transportation.
