Front sea Luxury

Very nice, private, spacious, cool, good view, comunual pool is fantastic also very clean and not too busy! great location to Antibes/ville franche-sur-mer etc Would highly recommend - we stayed here with our 2 children (2 years & 5 years old) and it was PERFECT FOR US! Also the host was very accommodating and was easy going, friendly and helpful!

It is a little dated but that is to be expected in the area!

There is a great view of the Mediterranean from the deck and living room. There were two separate rooms for bathing and a third room for WC. The building was quiet and calm, with no noisy neighbors. The owner advertised a parking place outside, then tried to get me to park my large van in a small garage, but then called a tenant of hers to park in the garage so I got the outside space after all. We walked to a very nice restaurant for dinner.

The elevator was broken, such that you had to go a floor higher than your floor and walk down, which is a real burden with large suitcases, and the stairway was dark as the lights shut off automatically to save energy. They do not turn on automatically, though. The property is inside a gated community and we had to follow cars in through the gates to find the property. No instructions are posted other than "someone will meet you" but the owner does the communicating and the "someone" works for her and so there is a lot of issues with finding the person who could let us into the property. The owner has been burned before and is EXTREMELY protective including the requirement of a 500 Euro cash deposit which necessitated our meeting her person on the day of departure to get our deposit back, in cash, as we headed to the airport to leave the eurozone. Very inconvenient - we had booked a couple days prior to arrival and rather than being grateful to have her space rented, she treated us presumptively as if we would destroy her apartment. There is a 100 euro fee for towels, another 100 euro fee for cleaning, and another 100 euro fee for electricity, but the air conditioners seemed to be set to a very low setting. We could change the temperature, but it never got to our selected temperature and we never felt actual cool or cold air blowing on us. The apartment was comfortable enough, but the 100 euro charge for electricity is a total scam if you can't even properly cool the apartment. The room with the biggest bed is barely bigger than the bed, which appears to be a Murphy-bed folding down from the wall, and was comfortable enough but the corners of the bed frame would be very easy to strike a knee or shin on as they project into the very small space to walk around the bed. If you are disabled or obese or unsteady, do not rent this apartment.
