Ein fantastisches Haus. Ganz stilvoll renoviert. Mit toller Deckenhöhe. Ganz typischer Altbau für Olhao mit viel Stuck. Bequeme Betten, viel Platz, tolles Geschirr, sehr ruhig und Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür. Sonne auf der Dachterrasse und alles so nah.

Die Küchenschränke klemmen etwas, aber das ist Klagen auf hohem Niveau

We really enjoyed staying at Casa Dona Ana - there was lots of space especially on the roof terrace where we spent mornings and evenings. The house is decorated with stylish French and Portuguese pieces of furniture, it was very clean and everything was well thought out. The location is a 10 minute walk from the sea front with the ferries, market, shops and restaurants, but we loved walking the cobbled back streets with old tiled houses, and being a short way out, the street was wonderfully quiet at night. In all we have a great stay and would happily return.

Two of the three bedrooms are connected although there is a separate external door to the hall for each, which was fine for us but doesn't give much privacy, and two don't have windows. All rooms had aircon though!

If you are looking for authenticity, contact with the local community and architecture, if you appreciate historical context that will allow you to better understand the place where you are spending your vacation, then this is the place for you. Very well-equipped apartments with a small patio and a huge roof terrace where we spent hours and where, apart from enjoying the sun, we could have dinner in the evenings, grilling fish bought at the market. Nothing was missing from the equipment and the apartment is tastefully decorated. We felt very comfortable, almost like locals.

Very good location about 10 minutes walk from the harbour. Good shops and restaurants close by. The roof terrace is great for breakfast and relaxing in the evening.
