My sisters and I rented the house as our home base while visiting the amazing state parks nearby. The location was wonderful and made it easy to go out every day to different parks and museums. The house was very comfortable for all of us with plenty of room to spread out. The weather was cloudy and rainy so we weren't outside in the yard often, but we certainly would have been if the weather had been better. There were plenty of notes and written rules provided upon arrival.

Although our stay was rainy and cloudy the entire week, we were able to get much needed rest. The place was very clean and quiet, and had all the amenities we needed during our stay. The deer in the yard were a treat to watch.
We hope to come back especially when weather is more favorable for star gazing.

Well kept and spacious. It was perfect for our family of 5. Property manager was super communicative and available. We highly recommend.

Plenty of space with our 4 kids and had everything we needed. Kitchen is well stocked. Beds are comfortable. Didn’t realize downstairs bathroom doesn’t have a shower but overall ok for us. Great location - we visited Cherry Springs, Kinzua bridge and Pa Grand Canyon. Wish we had more time to explore more in the area.

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely property with its tall trees and trout pond . Everything we needed was readily available so we were quite comfortable. It’s a short ride to Cherry Springs State park and the magnificent dark skies viewing. There are wooded trails to the back of the property and many more within a short drive. We’d love to return sometime.

The home was very clean and cozy. The property manager was very accessible and friendly. A minor downside was that the bed in the master bedroom was really noisy but the mattress itself was comfortable. There were plenty of extra blankets to keep us warm on the cooler nights. We really enjoyed our stay.

We travel yearly with friends and family to Potter County. We had a wonderful get away this year. The trails can be accessed from the house, no need to trailer up. The house was comfortable and clean. The location was perfect with a convenience store and diner within walking distance. Easy to find, easy check in. Property was enjoyable, deer came to visit daily and there is a pond with fish to feed and enjoy watching. Met some wonderful neighbors. Driveway is level but with more than one trailer, space was limited (we had 3). We had a great time and would love to visit this house again.

The property is perfect for any family or couple looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. The home is modern yet cozy feel that pairs perfectly with the rugged outdoors. Plenty of hiking locations near by and only 16mins from Cherry Springs!!

Great place with wife and kids. Great vacation home in the mountains. A lot of local activities for wife and kids(shops, site seeing etc). But yet, plenty of things still to do for the outdoorsman. Truly is “ Gods Countryâ€

I can't say enough about Five Pines Lodge. The property and home are even more beautiful in person than the photos. Liz(housekeeper) and George(groundskeeper) were there to greet my ten year old daughter and I. They got us settled, George prepared the fire pit for us for later on. Randy has the fixings for s'mores set out for us along with a bottle of local wine, which was delicious. We enjoyed looking for the fish in the pond, relaxing in the padded hammock and sitting by the fire. The mornings were cool so I turned on the porch heater while I drank my coffee and watched the squirrels and birds. Mr. Coyle's home has a warmth to it. I've rented many vacation homes and Five Pines felt like home away from home. This was my daughter's favorite trip out of the many places that we've visited. We hope to come again.
