Overall our stay was good. The property inside was very clean. The couch was not very comfortable and the cushions slide out a lot. While it was a sofa bed the bed was not comfortable. The actual bed was ok but very squeaky. The backyard and the place I was looking forward to the most was just ok. The patio furniture was not comfortable for extended sitting and all the outdoor cushions were pretty dirty. I know it is hard to keep up with all the trees around, but I felt it could have been swept up at least. The worst part was the cooler left in the back full of very gross water and alcohol. It was very nice to be able to sit right by the creek though!!! The area is very quiet and it is nice to be able to walk right into town. The WORST part was not knowing that when the assigned lot fills out you are out of luck. We were out all day Saturday and came home to nowhere to park. After circling for 20 minutes we finally found paid parking. The fact that I had to pay 20.00 to park until the lot opened up not good. At least let people know in the welcome info to expect this. It was very stressful and ruined our evening plans.

Very nice one bedroom house. We stayed two nights. One day we spent at Garden of the Gods. The next we walked to the cog railway and saw snow on Pikes Peak. Had two great dinners in town. Paravicini’s (Italian) was very nice, food was excellent. (Located in Old Colorado City)

The Creekside Home in Manitou had everything we needed and was in the perfect location for us. We loved the back patio for coffee by the creek in the mornings. We had easy access to shops and restaurants via a quick walk down the street. Even though we were in close proximity to the the quaint downtown of Manitou Springs, we had no issue with traffic or noise. In fact, with such a comfy bed, we slept so good--and I'm usually a light sleeper. The kitchen was stocked well and the space was used very well and perfect for the 2 of us. We really enjoyed our stay.

The house was in the perfect location. We could walk to the local restaurants and bars. It's a small house, but plenty of room for the two of us. The bed was comfortable and shower had great water pressure. The kitchen looked nice, but we ate out the whole time so not sure about kitchen essentials, etc... It's not a 5 star place, but definitely nice for a one hundred plus year old house. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks for sharing.
