Creekside Home w/ Patio, Walk to Manitou Incline!

Location is excellent! My main reason for visiting was hiking the Manitou Incline as well as the Barr trail up to Pikes Peak and those began only a mile away from the house in which I could walk. Even better was the easy walk to downtown Manitou Springs for food, shopping, etc.

That I didn’t book a longer stay for more R&R. The place is so cozy and charming.

The house was suitably close to downtown Manitou Springs, Albeit a bit out of the way. However being out of the way probably added to the quietness of the place. It was off season so parking was not a problem, there were always spaces available. It was comfortable, everything worked well.

Although the back patio by the nice creek is advertised, upon our arrival, it was not cleaned and looked as if it hadn’t been cleaned for quite awhile. I wiped everything down and swept it up. Also, it backs up onto another street with vehicles parked right up against it and it’s actually quite crowded in back there. Some homes next to the property are boarded up so it seems a bit odd at first, but it was safe and ok.

Very cleanand quiet and well stocked. Contacted them a couple of times and they got right back to me. We were able to park (parking permit provided) and walk wherever we wanted to go in town or to the incline. Back patio right on the creek! Everything had been remodeled and new. Would love to stay there anytime.
