We were so excited to go and relax in this place. The pictures looked like a sharp well maintained house. Unfortunately, it was not what we found there. Mid road we got the message from the owner that the dish washer is not working yet and there are no grilling utensils. Who wants to do the dishes on vacation? This was just the beginning. When we punch in the code to enter the burglary alarm went off. We managed to get ahold of the owner and she turned it off, but was not able to tell when the washer is going to be fixed. In the dining room we found stained chairs with wobbly back support. The fridge was not cleaned at all, and had multiple opened food items inside -health hazard especially with Covid.
The water filter in the fridge was not replaced, so no clean ice or water there. We didn’t want to take any chances with the filter of the water fountain under the sink. So we ended up buying gallons of water.
There was not even a sealed sponge to do the dishes, but there was a rack to dry them. The dish washer was disconnected probably for a while. The same with the main porch light/fan. It was very dark if you tried to go out using the side stairs. We were trying to be very careful, but our dog fell down and was squalling in pain and limping.
The community pool was nowhere to be found. At the end the main screen door locked on us, so we could not run the last check out before leaving.
At this point, the good size yard, well working internet and some nice decorations could not make up for our overall impression on this mobile home.
