Very lovely property, value for money.

I like the whole house, quite spacious and equipped. I like that the kitchen was stocked with appliances. I like that the TV was accessible and I could watch anything I wanted, I liked that they host made everything easy especially in getting access to the property, having the home appliances needed, soap for kitchen and bathroom were provided. I like that we could cook meals as the kitchen had everything needed. The property is really spacious and I loved it. My friends and I truly appreciated the property.

Firstly, Oh it was very cold in the property, even when we increased the thermostat to 24 as stated. The whole house was still cold. The rooms were too cold. The heater seemed not big or hot enough to circulate the heat to the whole house. We expected to get into the house and feel warmer but no it was still cold. I suggested get a portable heater for the rooms to warm the house. Secondly, the master’s room, omg the spring bed is a no no 👎 we couldn’t sleep on the first night, on top of the cold, now the bed was not comfortable at all. Our backs were hurting so we had to move to the other room with single beds, atleast those were manageable. Just these two issues then I will say the property was excellent or perfect. I will come again.

Big specious parking free hearing supper good .very flexible host is super supportive offered late check out .

Most of the furnitures are broken you can’t even move some of the stuff in room if you wanna have more space . Cleaning to be improved. Cleaning stuffs were kept everywhere when we entered which was not a good impression for me . Apart from that it was a good stay .

Bed was comfy

The stairs very steep really had to be careful up and down the stairs . The hot water was supposed to be on but had to look for the switch which was in the dining room no mention of that in the guide book provided . Ended up with a cold shower

Highly recommend Romford Cottage.

The cottage was really nice and comfortable. I enjoyed the layout of it and also a very quite and peaceful neighborhood. The bedrooms are really nice and comfortable, also the view from the bedrooms is refreshing.

Great stay, NEEDS a Professional Clean

Beautiful place, great location and facilities. Needs professional cleaning. Easy access. Excellent furniture. Everything worked as it should. Cleaning equipment provided and worked.

Please note: This property was NOT cleaned prior to our arrival. Dirty towels, but I brought my own. Bedding not washed, hair seen on linen, feathers and sand in the lounge. Had to go buy my own bed linen. Every time I went to the kitchen, I saw dog shit in the garden. Bins weren't taken out prior to our arrival. I had to buy my own toilet paper. I had to clean the property and take out the bins.

Functional property with good parking

The property had 5 degrees when we arrived. It took a day to warm it through. Bathroom and kitchen were really cold throughout our stay. The furniture is pretty dated.

It was in a good location for our needs, was excellent value and we slept well.

The property was well equipped with everything we needed. I liked the friendly instructions left by the owner - it made us feel like guests who were wanted. Great to have good heating and nice hot water

A few repairs are needed but that's understandable in an older property. My 6'3" husband struggled a little with the shower and some doorways - again, this can be expected in older properties.

Stairs are very steep. Typical for this style of property though and fine if fit and able Anyone with a disability may struggle. What's really good is there's two bannisters so good for support

Lovely place to stay, a real home from home

Lovely property, beautiful decor, very clean and comfortable with lots of equipment: iron, ironing board, clothes dryer, pegs, hair dryer, lots of new kitchen equipment, candles, air fresheners, soft towels, the list is endless. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Complimentary bottle of wine, which was lovely. Quite honestly, the nicest property I've ever stayed in.

The location wasn't ideal as we didn't drive. We had quite a way to get to the coast and a few other places we wanted to visit. However, we were about 15 minutes walk from the Metro and buses were closer. We were aware of the location when we booked, so I can't fault the property owners.
