A comfortable stay in a lovely location.

The location is lovely, and the caravan was nice and warm. Well kitted out, and comfortable. We only stayed one night on our way down from The Highlands. I would have stayed another night or two!

I couldn't find the light in the ensuite. The smoke alarm light by the back door flashes really bright, I thought someone was trying to look in with a torch. I could not see how to turn on the extractor fan either, but just opened a window in the end. The twin room is very cramped. It's a working farm so tractor noise etc starts early.

Peaceful scenic location

Cosy comfortable caravan in a quiet rural setting, with a beautiful view over the fields. Very handy location for visiting Ullswater and Keswick. Decent size kitchen for self catering

Perfect spot for relaxing I peace and quiet.

Lovely location with a great view from the decking. A fabulous place to have breakfast on a sunny day. Also, if you get a clear night, it’s an excellent spot for stargazing due to the lack of light pollution. We’ll definitely be visiting again

If I’m being super picky, the wifi was a bit sketchy but it didn’t affect our enjoyment at all.

Beautiful setting, poor cleanliness

The location is beautiful, set in the middle of a farm. The house is peaceful and well-equipped, with a bathroom, kitchen including kitchenware, a living room, and good heating.

The bedroom linens were dirty with hair on them, which made us feel uncomfortable. We arrived around 11 pm, so it’s understandable the owner didn’t reply at that hour, but I had to find and change the sheets myself, which was exhausting after a full day of hiking. The next day, when I mentioned it, the owner insisted it “absolutely it couldn’t be the case” and did not acknowledge the issue, which was disappointing. In addition, although check-in was listed until 11:30 pm, we were asked to arrive by 10 pm and to be very quiet on arrival to avoid disturbing neighbours. However, I didn’t see any neighbours nearby apart from the main farmhouse and horses. This added unnecessary pressure to our arrival

Clean, comfortable caravan in a stunning location.

Stunning location and very helpful host, it was close to where we needed to be. Comfortable and clean.

Wifi signal is weak but it’s a good opportunity to switch off, however my husband had some work deadlines that needed emails sent and although he managed, it was a little stressful. Bathrooms are in the process of being updated.

Perfect place to wind down and enjoy the picturesque Lake District.

The most amazing location. The accommodation was perfect. Hazel ensured we had everything we needed. A lovely gesture of milk upon arrival, so very much appreciated.

Absolutely brilliant.

Great location. Great place to stay. In a nutshell - this is not a caravan. It’s a rather nicely decked out bungalow somehow packaged into a square box. It’s got real beds, real furniture, a gas cooker, a working power shower, and should you need it (we didn’t do untested) proper heating. Tv worked. WiFi didn’t but what the hell. And the location is beautiful.

Brilliant location, good spaces and beautiful views but bathrooms and bedsheets were both outdated and not cleaned well. Bathrooms definitely need fully replaced or at least cleaned, found hair and residues on edges.

The location was beautiful, with horses in the next field. The hosts were very quick to respond and left biscuits and milk in the fridge which was a lovely surprise.
