Farm stay caravan on working farm

The large patio doors gave the living room beautiful views from the sofa day and night. Caravan was spotlessly clean, had everything we needed and was really comfortable for our two night stay. Shower was great too. Highly recommend and hopefully we'll return.

The wooden steps were slimy and slippy when wet but there is a warning notice for this. As it was dry we could pass things through the patio so we didn't need to walk on it too much.

Quiet little caravan with everything you could need. Great views and ample parking. Totally undisturbed by working farm.

All good.

Idyllic location overlooking fields. Great for stargazing at night. Pooley Bridge just 6 minute drive away.

The location is beautiful, set in the middle of a farm. The house is peaceful and well-equipped, with a bathroom, kitchen including kitchenware, a living room, and good heating.

The bedroom linens were dirty with hair on them, which made us feel uncomfortable. We arrived around 11 pm, so it’s understandable the owner didn’t reply at that hour, but I had to find and change the sheets myself, which was exhausting after a full day of hiking. The next day, when I mentioned it, the owner insisted it “absolutely it couldn’t be the case” and did not acknowledge the issue, which was disappointing. In addition, although check-in was listed until 11:30 pm, we were asked to arrive by 10 pm and to be very quiet on arrival to avoid disturbing neighbours. However, I didn’t see any neighbours nearby apart from the main farmhouse and horses. This added unnecessary pressure to our arrival
