Spring Grove is ideally located at Watermillock, a stone’s throw from Ullswater’s shoreline in the Northern Lake District, privately accessed by its own drive and surrounded by 50 acres of woodland which covers a fell that overlooks Lake Ullswater. With fantastic walks, direct from Spring Grove, allowing you to leave your car behind or stay home to enjoy the garden space where wildlife is often seen, including roe deer, badger, fox, squirrels, buzzards, ravens and regular nesting ducks. Adjoining the discreet owners’ properties, you also have access to its own lake shore frontage just across the road, offering private fishing and the possibility of launching small craft such as a windsurfer, canoe or rubber dinghy. Windsurfing, rowing and motorboat hire, sailing, golf, pony trekking and steamer cruises are all available locally.
