Cactus Residence Chania

Since I was unable to open my email to read the instructions, I called and was guided on how to retrieve the keys. The other thing was that the address was written wrong on the paperwork and this made finding the house a little difficult until I called. But once I spoke with someone the problem was quickly resolved.

I have stayed at various places and this was very nice. I would have wanted more towels available to me. When I requested an additional towel it was immediately brought to me. I also would have liked more soap products for the shower. I had to go and get more paper towel , soap for the washer and toilet paper. The other places I stayed, there was more than enough for our entire stay. It was a mild annoyance to an otherwise great home to stay in. Trying to find parking for the rental car was a nightmare around that neighborhood but given the time we were there, we were told that that’s how it is in August. Walking distance to the Old Port and to the Nea Chora Beach made this stay worth it!

It was spacious and clean. We loved the size of the rooms. Having an extra room (office) for suitcases was handy. Back patio for visiting cats was a big plus. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen very clean and well stocked. Several markets a close walk too.

De locatie was perfect! Je loopt de straat uit en je bent op de boulevard bij het strand met allerlei restaurants. Loop je de hoek om sta je midden in old town vlak bij de haven. Een betere locatie is er niet. Alle kamers hadden airco en je heb twee plekken om buiten te zitten dus je kan altijd kiezen tussen zon of schaduw. Hij was een prachtig ingericht huis.
