Die Wohnung ist sehr schön eingerichtet und war top sauber. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und es war Wasser im Kühlschrank und Kaffeekapseln standen zur Verfügung. Wir bekamen sogar noch einen Milchschäumer. Das eine Doppelbett hat eine sehr gute Matratze (etwas härter), die anderen Matratzen sind etwas weicher und es sind zwei Einzelbetten, die zu einem Doppelbett zusammengeschoben werden. Die Lage der Wohnung ist für alle Ausflugsziele günstig gelegen und der Strand ist nur 350m entfernt. Besonders positiv hervorheben möchte ich den Kontakt zum Vermieter Mathios. Dieser war immer erreichbar und half uns super gut und super schnell, da der Kühlschrank in der Wohnung leider kaputt war. Innerhalb von quasi einem Tag, stand ein neuer Kühlschrank zur Verfügung. Auch bekamen wir viele gute Tipps und die Möglichkeit am Abreisetag etwas länger zu bleiben.

Die Wohnung liegt direkt an einer leider sehr viel befahrenen Straße. Zwischen ca. 0:30 Uhr und 6:00 Uhr ist es okay, aber zu anderen Zeiten ist es sehr laut. Nur als Info: Das Badezimmer inkl. Toilette kann vom zweiten Schlafzimmer aus nur erreicht werden, wenn man durch das andere erste Schlafzimmer durchgeht o. aus der Haupttür raus und die Küchentür wieder rein. Für Familien und getrennt schlafende Paare sicher kein Problem, für alle Anderen vielleicht gut zu wissen.

L'Host è disponibile, gentile e pronto ad aiutarti in qualsiasi difficoltà. La pulizia dell'appartamento è eccellente. La casa è confortevole e ben ristrutturata, è posizionata vicino al centro, alla spiaggia e allo stazionamento dei bus per raggiungere altre spiagge o siti archeologici.

מקום מרכזי הדירה נקיה ויפה חשבו פה על הכל !!! מרחק קצר מהים והעיר העתיקה , במרחק הליכה סופרמרקט, בתי קפה ,הדירה ממוזגת בכל חדר !!! מושלמת לזוג + 2 או 4 מבוגרים , בעל הבית מקסים והיה זמין לנו בכל דבר .

The host was at the apartment on our arrival - he handed over the keys, talked us through how everything worked. He explained the neighbourhood, how to reach the local attractions like the old town, harbour and beaches. There were bottles of water in the fridge and a bottle of lovely wine from Crete for us to enjoy on our arrival. The hosts parents in law lived down stairs - they were so kind and friendly, and provided some home made treats for us to sample (a lovely cake one day and a yummy omelette on morning). The apartment was so clean, modern with beautiful décor. Lovely large bathroom with a washing machine. The kitchen was clean and modern with great appliances. Dishes and cutlery where stylish and plentiful - large wine glasses and large drinking glasses. The air con was amazing (and much needed as Chania was very hot). The bedrooms had beautiful décor, the beds were king size and extremely comfortable. There is a good sized balcony which is very private, lots of space to dry clothing discretely, plenty of space to sit out and enjoy the morning and evenings. The balcony has 2 modern canopies that can be extended and retracted easily - this way you can enjoy the sun or the shade. The property has lovely plants and a mature citrus tree. The location of the apartment was brilliant - 10 minute walk to the harbour, the old town, the city beach, the bus station, main shopping district and a large supermarket. We enjoyed staying in this property so much - what made our stay so special was the host Matthaios. He was very kind and friendly, nothing was a problem. All our requests were met with a positive response - he was such a gracious host. I would recommend staying at this apartment to anyone visiting Chania - it felt like a home away from home. Chania is a beautiful city with very kind and caring people. Very easy access to beaches in Agia Marina and Platanias - just head to the main bus station.
