Lured Den is a classic 1950s cabin that has been completely renovated with all the modern necessities while staying true to its vintage Northwoods charm. Enjoy a peaceful and private vacation nestled in the pines with over 100' of lake frontage and crystal clear water on 430 acre Pioneer Lake. Make use of our pier, fire pit, 4 kayaks, covered porch and more. All this just a short drive from Eagle River.
The space:
Lured Den is an absolute haven for those seeking a serene retreat in the heart of the Northwoods! The journey through the tunnel of pines sets a magical tone from the moment guests arrive, and the renovated 1950s cottage promises both nostalgia and modern comfort in equal measure.
The kitchen, with its gleaming stainless appliances and cozy pine paneling, invites guests to whip up delicious meals while enjoying the ambiance of the vintage electric fireplace. And with modern conveniences like the wall-mounted smart TV and central air and heat, guests can truly relax and unwind in style.
The bedrooms offer a snug refuge with plush beds and extra blankets for chilly nights, while the inclusion of a washer/dryer unit ensures convenience throughout the stay.

I took some R&R and found this beautiful and quiet lake cottage. It was December and chilly but so beautiful with the snow covered trees.. It was well kept, nicely decorated, very comfortable and the manager was responsive to questions. I will definitely return in the Spring.

We had a long weekend at Lured Den for a family wedding.The accommodations are as depicted and has all the things you need for daily life. We used the Kayaks and Hot tub and did some fishing from the pier. If you plan to do serious fishing you will need to rent a boat. The water was a bit shallow, so not an easy step down to the water from the pier and no jumping off the pier into the water. But if you want a quiet getaway with a view, this is the spot.

This was our first VRBO and our first time up to the. Northwoods in a long time. The accommodations are just like the pictures. Everything is in great shape and lots of nice extra touches inside and out to make your stay memorable. The view from the yard was great for sunsets or just chilling.We trailered a motorcycle. Plenty of room in the driveway for our pickup, 10’ trailer and the bike. Like 99% of places in the area the road is dirt but in good condition. No problem to navigate our touring bike 2 up, but if it had rained and been muddy I would have probably slow walked it the few hundred feet to the paved road. Just mentioning for anyone other riders wondering.Next time we head, “Up North” we will definitely look to book Lured Den again!
