Good choice for families traveling in Tuscany

Location close to the railway station and the airport. Easy to check in and check out. Totally clean. TV with excellent audio. Little fridge, sweets, bottles of water and coffee maker. Professional owners.

If your nextdoor guest has some early flight to catch, there might be a little bustle early in the morning. But it's no big problem and totally understandable.

Beautiful guest house newly refurbished to the highest standards and really wonderful host - she could not have been more helpful to us and gave us lots of useful hints about where to go in Pisa - I would definitely go back again to the four lions

Incredibly comfortable and low located

Four Lions Villa is incredibly comfortable. The rooms are a nice size and are well laid out and are spotlessly clean. The villa is located only a 15 minute walk away from the airport terminal, a 25 minute walk to the historic town center, and a 35 minute walk to the leaning tower. I found the location very convenient. I had bought the proximity to the airport might be a bit noisy, but I did not find that to be the case. Check-in was easy, and I really liked the one fob fits all doors entry. The proprietors are charming, and very helpful with recommendations.

The room was lovely and in a quiet family neighborhood. The bed was very comfortable. The shower felt great after a long day of walking around. Sylvia is a wonderful host. Her English is great! She’s very informative of what to do and how to get about in Pisa, I would stay at her villa again.

I don’t have any dislikes. It is not close to downtown so you will need a taxi. But there is an app that works wonderful for calling a taxi and it usually takes about five minutes.

Great hosts, good location (close to the airport), comfortable place, clean and well renovated. There was everything what we could need in the room. Yummy pizza place 5min walk away. Highly recommend place, thank you for having us 🫶🏼

Amazing stay in a quiet area

The villa is very modern and clean, and smells good. We got clear instructions for the check-in and the communication was really smooth. Silvia is very friendly and helpful, we got a bunch of recommendations for Pisa. The location is great to walk to the airport, a bit further from the city center but easy to access by bus.

Don't be tricked by the photographs!!!

The host was welcoming on arrival. She kindly sent us recommendations and on request booked a taxi to the airport for our early morning flight.

The room was basic. I have travelled around the world and have never been offered paper cups to drink from in a hotel room. The bedding was dirty. We both slept poorly as the bedding was itchy and the bed uncomfortable, the pillows were hard and misshapen. The location was poor. It was a 20 min walk to airport but with narrow walkways and luggage it did not feel accessible. The leaning tower was either two buses, a bus and a train or a lengthy walk. Limited options for food and essentials nearby on foot, especially with allergies.

Cozy and well located

It is in a great location – close to the airport and within walking distance of all the places we wanted to visit. We actually walked everywhere! The room was tidy, clean, and full of thoughtful little touches that made our stay even more comfortable. But what really made the difference was Sylvia – she’s warm, helpful, and clearly puts a lot of effort into both the apartment and making her guests feel welcome. We’d definitely recommend staying here if you’re in the area!

The accomodation is extremely well kept in terms of cleanliness and upkeep; It is very well designed; Silvia (host) was very helpful and friendly;

We took a taxi everytime we traveled - airport, tower, train station; Though there was a bus station but one would have to go to the train station first then take another bus to visit the tower complex;

A cleverly arranged area allows you to store your clothes neatly out of sight, keeping the room feeling open and uncluttered—a small but truly appreciated detail. Guests are welcomed with complimentary toiletries, as well as coffee and a selection of biscuits, adding a lovely personal touch to the stay. The location is incredibly convenient—just a 15-minute walk from the airport and only 15 minutes from the city center—making it perfect for both short stopovers and longer visits. The neighborhood is peaceful, clean, and well-kept, offering a quiet retreat after a day of exploring. Our host was absolutely delightful—genuinely kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. She offered us great local recommendations for restaurants and bars, which added so much to our experience. Overall, it’s a fantastic place to stay if you value comfort, cleanliness, and warm hospitality in a convenient location.

Wonderful villa and host!!!

This review has been written by my 10 year old daughter. It was so nicely set out , clean also. It was an amazing location everything you needed was there near the villa. I would definitely recommend this to anyone. I am going to go back and tell all my friends and family!! Silvia the Hostess was so helpful and wonderfully kind she also gave amazing recommendations which we used.

Perfection

When our flight from Pisa was cancelled we quickly logged into booking.com to find somewhere to stay. The four lions villa could not have been more perfect. Stunning interior, extremely comfortable beds, a real home away from home. Silvia herself went above and beyond to make us feel extra comfortable after a very stressful day, I couldn’t put into words how much we appreciate her kindness. If I could give 100 stars I would ✨

The bed!!!!! It was the most comfortable bed we had slept in all week. Beautiful Villa, in immaculate condition, stylishly decorated. Very friendly owner, explained everything very well and was very helpful!

We choose it as it was in close proximity to the airport, however choice of restaurants was limited. Public transport connection to the city was also limited.

The perfect end to a lovely holiday

If you are flying in or out of Pisa airport, this guesthouse is absolutely perfect. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else in future. It is immaculate, spotlessly clean and very comfortable - with great aircon. Communications were great and Silvia, the owner, couldn’t have been more helpful - booking us a restaurant (a local pizzeria - the best pizza we have ever had) and a taxi to the airport in the morning which was no more than five minutes away.
