Cosy and comfortable

Comfortable and kitchen well equipped. Host very helpful and friendly. So were the neighbours. Netflix and other TV channels appreciated. Heated floor in the lovely Bathroom

Nice location but mouldy and stinky.

It's quiet. The bed is reasonably comfortable. It was warm. Near the Blacksmiths Arms which is a great pub with great food.

There was an awful smell of damp on entering, which never went away. There was mould on the walls, mould in the shower, air fresheners everywhere to hide the smell. But they didn't work. I could barely breathe and barely slept. The place is possibly ok in the summer when it dries out a bit but I would never go back in winter.

Great cottage, great location and great communication 🙂

After my partner and I came down with the flu, rendering us unable to attend a family wedding, Raynbow Apartments were very supportive and made the change over to another family guest extremely easy and stress free! They had great communication from the get go and our sister in law and husband had a great stay! They said the cottage was clean, good location, and had everything they needed. Thank you again for all your support. Would definitely recommend!

Clean cosy cottage, facilities ready to hand, everything was so easy to work around like the WiFi, the remotes etc. bedding was really really comfortable, had a very good sleep. Hosts gave the details a night before the stay so no messing about, was easy to access cottage

Parking is just abit tight, only had room for one car and the road coming in is very very tight but this is already mentioned

Great little place if you need somewhere with space for cooking.

Nice little cottage. Nice cozy layout with good a good quality duvet set which in lots of properties are normally cheap and nasty. Good sized bathroom too with a clean shower with good water pressure. Cottage also came stocked with a good amount of cooking equipment and utensils. Overall cleanliness of the cottage was good.

Access to the property is on a tight bend and is not the easiest to access due to people’s bins semi blocking the entrance. Mattress was not the comfiest as I left the following day with a sore back and the bedroom had a damp smell.

cut little cottage,tvs were all set and could stream anything, the shower was different but amazing, plenty of utensils and kitchen appliances, we liked that we had our own laundry room , felt in a safe place and comfortable everything was great

Fantastic cosy cottage

Loved the cottage, so cosy, clean and comfortable. Had a fantastic nights sleep. Communication was good throughout the stay and the week before. The deposit was returned just hours after I remembered to give my details.

This isn't even a thing I don't like but more something to be mindful of. The lane leading to the cottage and parking is narrow and there is very little space for maneuvering. Absolutely not a complaint, the directions were great and there was a lot of communication about where to park including alternatives if the lane was too daunting.

Disappointing

It was a good location especially for a solo traveller. It was well set up and had the necessary facilities. It was in a quiet setting.

I has some issues with cleanliness e.g. the bedding was smelly and I had to wash it myself, the teapot was mouldy and a pan was burnt. Although the landlord dealt with some of these issues, I had no apology or compensation for the smelly sheets. I found the landlord who came around rather intimidating and defensive.

Difficult and unfriendly host, still waiting for the deposit 15 days on.

I liked the fact that it was a self contained unit with private entrance. Bed was comfortable, it was clean and had a separate corner housing the washing machine and tumble dryer, which was handy.

It was a complicated process, just getting the keys to the property. The road leading to the property was dirt track road and although I mange to find it okay, the host insisted that I drive out and wait on the main for further instructions, which were several videos instructing me exactly where to park. My partner then noticed that the bedsheets have not been changed and had stains and hair on them. We contacted the host, who apologised and send a cleaner to change them. The host also insisted that we paid £100 damage deposit to his bank account and would not release the keys before we did that. He would not accept cash so we paid the deposit as requested. The deposit should have been returned within a few days. As of now it has been 15 days and I am still waiting. He ignored all my messages and calls.

It's allready been mentioned on reviews... but it ain't as bad I don't think as previous reviews say. Yes it's tight but if you go steady and park like explained it's not to bad.

Exceptional

The cottage is well designed. Stylish bathroom and there is underfloor heating in the bathroom. Large shower with a large shower head. Comfortable bed and a fan for if it gets too warm. Had a wonderful stay and would recommend to anyone. Would definitely stay again.

Quirky but well appointed cottage

The small single story cottage appears a little austere from the outside but once inside it is a true Tardis with all mod cons. It has been finished to a high standard throughout and the dining/lounge area, bedroom, and bathroom were all well presented. The bathroom with underfloor heating and walk in shower felt very luxurious. It is well located for walking to local shops and pubs and the M62 is about 10 minutes away. Huddersfield town centre is also about 10 minutes away and there are many nice walks that can be made literally from the front door.

Access to the property is not straightforward since you have to turn into a narrow entrance off the main road through Kirkheaton. This is a lot easier if you turn right into the entrance i.e travelling uphill towards the village centre. Exit is again a slight issue but not a large one. I found I quickly adapted to this. We also noticed that it was quite warm when we stayed and the only ventilation was from skylight windows which required a small step ladder to access. Again it was not a big issue.

Дуже тихе і затишне місце.

У ванній кімнаті холодно, немає радіатора, тільки тепла підлога. У мешканні неприємно пахне. Екран телевізора в столовій кімнаті не працював добре, він був вдарений кимось раніше. Ми приїхали на годину раніше, в 15:00, господар захотів доплату £15. Ми заселилися після 16:00, але виявилося , що бойлер не працює, і ми ще годину не могли відчивати і залишитись наодинці, бо чекали , поки працівник ремонтував бойлер, і ніяких скидок не було, тільки пообіцяли, що наступного разу буде бонус. На наступний день хтось теж приходив до мешкання, поки нас не було. Хочемо порадити: 1) Приміщення повинно бути готове до приїзду гостей. 2) Зазвичай, якщо я заплатив і зняв мешкання, то на цей період воно наше, і ніхто не повинен нас турбувати .
