The kitchen were beautiful and antique/ type but the sink not very easy to use . The apartment could have a wooden cutting board and more useful dining items.

Wonderful place to stay!

The view was just like the picture. It was perfect. The room was wonderful! After staying in such small hotels, it was nice to have a whole apartment with a living room. Comfy beds. Very unique and luxurious stay. Matteo met us walking down from the taxi and guided us to our room. Let us keep our bags in the room early too.

Very bad

We booked this apartment for a single night, excited for its location and easy access to everything. Entering the space the first thing I noticed was the dirty floors, hairs and shoe marks everywhere-it must not have been mopped for many days. We looked past that, as we are very tired from our trip, wanting to get in bed and rest.. until we saw the hairs on the bedding, the pillows, even under the sheets! It was late and we had no choice but to stay there, sleeping fully clothed as to not touch the clearly used linen. We wake up the next day and start preparing for our check out, when someone knocks at our door. A gentleman who did not speak English, seemingly a cleaning staff, we did not know who that is. We let him know that we want to take a quick shower and leave in a few minutes. In broken English he said that he needs to do something in the apartment and that he’s coming later. Before we knew, he rushed into the space, taking all the towels and linen, placed a tub of yogurt in the fridge and left. He did it in literally 2 minutes while we were packing away our stuff. We looked at each other in awe as now we were left with no towels for a shower, after a trip and after having to sleep fully clothed. Stay at this flat if you like being uncomfortable and dirty, in a great location.

Perfect Location- But Unit / Bathrooms are horrible! Need remodeling- I WONT STAY THERE AGAIN!

The Location was excellent- but I won’t stay there again!

The only positive about this unit was the location. Unfortunately, the bathrooms were in terrible condition—mold, a broken tub, and overall poor maintenance. The owner simply left a pile of cheap towels and didn’t even supply basic essentials like soap, they put it just together to rent it- I m surprised about good reviews- again location was 10 out of 10 but the unit or bathrooms were horrible to any standards due to mold.

great location but considering the cost lacked the upper end luxury touches expected in Portofino.

location was great. lots of room. apartment was well appointed. view was exceptional. close to restaurants and other shops.

Lots of doors slamming from next unit being used by staff at Dolce and Gabbana. Started early in the morning until later in the evening. very disruptive. For the cost per night we expected higher end shampoo and soap. There was no conditioner or body lotion in the bathroom. There was a coffee machine with no coffee pods. There was no water in the fridge. There was no cleaning service or fresh daily towels. We stayed at other apartments in Italy during the same vacation and all these products were provided at a lesser cost and oceanfront apartment.

Beautiful, friendly and a magical place.

The property was exceptional. The views and balcony delivered. Really felt part of this special place. The features of the apartment were stunning. We could not recommend this more highly. We ember on our trip in February when it is low season. We were aware not everything would be open and would just advise others to check out a Restaurant for the evening early as most close early on. Due to the location, the restaurants are more expensive than in Santa Margarita but this was to be expected. We had such a wonderful time and the food and staff were so welcoming.

The beds were firm but it wasn’t a problem for us. Couldn’t fault it.

The location and view of the piazza from the terrace was amazing. Very large apartment with room to spread out. having two bathrooms and air conditioning was a plus.

The beds and pillows were very uncomfortable. Please add a pillow top and better quality pillows, or more of them, for future guests sake. Also, the washer/dryer did not work, so we left Portofino with one bag full of dirty clothes.

Ein sehr schönes Apartment in bester Lage! Absolut empfehlenswert. Wir haben eine wunderbare Zeit in Portofino verbracht und kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Danke auch an Mattheo. Er ist sehr hilfsbereit und gibt gute Tipps was man in Portofino unternehmen kann.
