Very clean and good air conditioning. We loved the pool also and the attentive property managers. Good location near the supermarket and short drive to some lovely public beaches.

This Villa is set in a stunning location. On arrival the hosts were absolutely fantastic welcoming us and explaining little tips along with a welcome drink. They were also on hand in case of any issues (which there weren't).
We had a very windy day/night which blew a few leaves into the pool. These were cleaned out straight away. The attention to detail was brilliant and much appreciated. Very friendly and guest orientated, You couldn't ask for better. Thank you.
The Villa was spotless and very well equipped making our stay very luxurious indeed. The rooms are 1st class, On suite, Tv's and opening doors onto the balcony with a hot tub and more fantastic views. The pictures in the advert do not do it justice and only give you a small idea of how nice this villa really is.
There are adequate cooking facilities, dishwasher, washer drier.
The Villa is set on a hillside which you get used to. It is quite steep so a car is advised if you are not that fit. Behind the Villa are the mountains with white wispy clouds rolling over the tops and to the front is a fantastic view of the sea and islands. You get spectacular sunsets to the right as you walk down the hill.
A two minute's walk from a very well stocked supermarket. A 5 minute walk from a very friendly bar (Oscars). About 10 minutes to a very pretty beach with strange shale like pebbles (beach shoes advised as they can be quite sharp) and with crystal clear water all set in the back drop of the mountains. There is plenty of shade from trees lining the promenade along with small kiosks selling everything from sun hats to shoes. A number of restaurants line the prom increasing in cost the further you get towards the Harbour. (About a 30 minute walk to the Harbour)
Makarska harbour is 5 minute by car and absolutely gorgeous. Be sure to allow yourselves enough time to visit.
Makarska is approximately 1.5hrs from Split airport (Very easy drive) 2.5hrs from Debrovnik (very scenic drive)
Coming home. I wish I had booked two weeks.
That we only discovered the Harbour on the last night. We would loved to have spent more time there.
The hill to the Villa is a test the first couple of days and then you get used to it.
The cost of the entrance fees to some of the attractions are a little steep but worth the money.

We stayed at this villa for two nights and had a mixed experience. On the positive side, the swimming pool was very nice, the coffee machine was a great touch, and the free parking was convenient.
Unfortunately, there were several issues that affected the quality of our stay. There was no proper welcome or explanation of the property – we were greeted by the cleaner, who didn’t speak English, which made communication difficult. The WiFi didn’t work at all during our stay, and the villa itself felt very worn and in need of maintenance. Privacy was also an issue, as the cleaner frequently walked around the property. Additionally, the villa is located directly on the main road, so traffic noise was constant, especially during the day.
Only two toilet rolls were provided for four adults for a two-night stay, which felt insufficient and a bit careless.
Overall, the place has some nice features, but it really needs better management, more attention to detail, and general improvements to offer a comfortable and welcoming stay.
