Odilia - Historic City Apartments - center of Brixen

Die Lage ist im Herzen der Altstadt von Brixen. Der Busbahnhof ist in 5 Gehminuten zu erreichen. Die Ferienwohnung war sauber, es gab im Hausflur sogar noch einen Schrank, wenn was gefehlt hat, z.B. Handtücher oder Spültabs. Für 4 Personen absolut in Ordnung, für 6 Personen würde ich das nicht mieten.

Es gab keine Ablagemöglichkeiten oder etwas zum Aufhängen im Bad. Selbst am Waschbecken war kein Platz. Es wäre schön, wenn es noch ein Regal oder Wäscheständer geben würde.

The position, very central was perfect. Walking distance to shops, a despar, eateries. Lots of space. Good value. No air conditioning but plenty of fans and good windows to get a draught so it was fine. Coffee maker with capsules. Well equipped kitchen.

There was no Brixen card which made travelling on buses and trains difficult. Please change this! Lots of stairs, no lift but manageable if you are fairly mobile. It was on the top floor so in a heatwave could be hot! A bit noisy on our first night only.

Great location in the city center and a very spacious apartment.

The apartment is on the fourth floor with no elevator, which wasn't really a problem. However, it is located in the attic, and the corridor leading to the apartment has a glass(?) roof. The area outside the apartment door was probably over 40°C. The apartment has several fans, but they are not enough. There is no air conditioning, and the apartment becomes extremely hot during the summer. Even with the fans running, it was impossible to cool it down. On one rainy day, we couldn't keep the windows open, as most of them are roof windows or locked so they can only be opened slightly. The apartment felt uncomfortable to stay in. There are neighboring apartments on both sides, and the roof is shared, meaning someone could potentially access the apartment through the roof. I have also attached photos of the shared roof to illustrate the access between the neighboring apartments. At night, we could also hear noise from the bars and restaurants below until late. In our opinion, this apartment should not be rented out during the summer heat until air conditioning is installed on the upper floors.
