Host was lovely, house was so comfortable and clean, complimentary drinks and home made cake was yum! Managed to park right outside, and the host even dealt with our parking permit meter throughout our stay. We had the family room which was light and spacious with air con or heating-whichever was needed! In our case, air con which worked well.

Just a little further out than expected, but that was not the hotels fault. I think this was down to it being a super hot time, as it was only approx.20mins each way but due to the heat, felt like 45mins!!

More hooks for wet towels. TV and Netflix not working. Extractor fan in bathroom not working properly. Single bed was not that comfortable.

The property is in a fantastic location, very close to the city centre. The beds were extremely comfortable and the hosts were lovely and welcoming. They were incredibly accommodating and even surprised us with breakfast in the morning, which was a really thoughtful touch. The bathroom was stunning and the entire place was spotlessly clean. Despite there being other guests, the rooms were very well soundproofed, so it felt peaceful and private. There was plenty of space downstairs where we enjoyed our surprise breakfast. Complimentary wine, beer, tea, and coffee were provided, all beautifully presented and of a very high standard.

I like a thicker duvet, I found the duvet very lightweight but that’s a personal preference

It is clean and tidy. The host is nice. The location is good. We can just walk to the city centre. I thought the score on booking.com was fake, but i am totally wrong. It is absolutely worth.
