A pleasant apartment located in a unique building in the heart of Ivrea.

The flat is in the town centre with great choice of restaurants and shops. The host was incredibly responsive and went out of their way to help. Designed in the 1960s for the Olivetti firm, the building features a unique typewriter-inspired shape and was the work of renowned architects.

The exterior of the building could be better maintained.

Una notte nel design

Il palazzo storico è una pietra miliare dell’architettura, specialmente olivettiana. L’appartamento sembra uscito da un film futurista degli anni ‘70. Tutto è al posto giusto. Il design fermo nel tempo si fa apprezzare anche oggi e ci lascia a bocca aperta. Nell’appartamento tutto quello di originale che poteva essere recuperato è stato recuperato e restaurato. Un plauso. Appartamento confortevole, con tutto quel che serviva per il soggiorno. Host gentile e premurosa.

Purtroppo la struttura condominiale, che meriterebbe di essere restaurata per il suo valore architettonico, è ai limiti del decoro. Un vero peccato, un patrimonio da valorizzare, per di più in centro.

Nach der perfekten Video-Einweisung zum Appartement bin ich erst einmal eine halbe Stunde staunend durch die Wohnung gelaufen. Dies ist wirklich eine Perle der Architektur und einzigartig in ihrer Art. Dem Gebäude selbst sieht man die Spuren der Zeit an und es ist zu hoffen, dass es erhalten bleibt. Das Appartement selbst ist gepflegt und sauber, Klimaanlage, Waschmaschine und Flachbild-TV inklusive. Es ist sicher nichts für Besucher, die eine perfekt-steriles Touristendisneyland erwarten. Ich hab‘ mich sehr wohl gefühlt und in meinem Umfeld jeden neugierig darauf gemacht. Die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin war sehr gut, ich wäre gerne länger geblieben.

Mi è molto piaciuto il mio soggiorno alla Serra Olivetti.

J'apprécie beaucoup le bâtiment construit par Olivetti. C'est un lieu mythique et fonctionnel. Idéal pour des vacances dans le Piémont. En plein centre-ville d'Ivrea qui est très agréable. Les montagnes sont proches et les possibilités de visites de la région sont nombreuses.

Come ammalarsi

Entrando nell'alloggio casa dotata di utensili x cucinare. Non posso dare punti a favore perché siamo rimasti delusi

Abbiamo patito tanto freddo, ci siamo ammalati nonostante abbiamo chiesto informazioni sul poter avere più caldo all'host, risposta: c'è una stufetta da bagno e una coperta termica; inoltre c'era un solo condizionatore che non scaldava tutta la casa ma solo l'entrata, c'erano tante bocchette di ventilazione che emettevano aria fredda, soprattutto nella camera da letto, il bagno era umido e freddo dove non c'era nessun tipo di riscaldamento. Abbiamo specificato che avevamo freddo, le uniche risposte son state c'è la stufetta e c'è una termocoperta. Entrava freddo da tutte le vetrate. Esperienza negativa. La struttura da fuori non si può spiegare, terribile.
