If you are on foot, prepare go high, but it’s worth it! The view was amazing. And actually, Maya offered to pick up us at the station, but we had no internet at the station. Anyway, it was not a problem.

A nice place, but probably not for everyone

The location is fine, the hostess is friendly. Her house is filled with curious objects and books, and decorative art pieces made by the hostess. It's very close to the funiculare that takes you to the Piazzo (the oldest part of the city, with some good restaurants).

Covid-related precautions seemed to be lacking. There was no real lock on our bedroom door, just a small hook latch, and the door itself was mainly textured glass (leaving us not a lot of privacy).

Respiro d’arte

Maya, la persona che gestisce il B\&B, è semplicemente stupenda: solare, accogliente e piena di energia positiva. La casa è un vero e proprio rifugio d’arte, dove ogni angolo racconta qualcosa. Dai riferimenti a Frida Kahlo e Chagall, ai quadri, agli oggetti particolari, ai lampadari: ogni dettaglio è scelto con gusto e sensibilità artistica. Anche la posizione è molto comoda per visitare la città. Mi è piaciuta così tanto che… ci vivrei davvero volentieri!

Parcheggio: in teoria ci sarebbe anche uno spazio molto vicino, ma durante il mio soggiorno non sono mai riuscita a trovare posto. Fortunatamente, nelle immediate vicinanze c’è un parcheggio ampio e comodo.

Sopportabile solo per una notte. Invernale: non c'è condizionatore

La posizione

Non sono un artista, forse questo è il mio limite e lo dico in premessa. Mi basterebbero chiarezza, comfort, spazi, pulizia e servizi che purtroppo in questa struttura non ho trovato. Tralasciamo la chiarezza, che è opinabile e su cui ognuno potrebbe avere la propria opinione: resta che è la prima volta che prenoto camera con bagno condiviso (sempre scartate), e per di più al prezzo di b&b con servizio in camera, ma ci sta che in tanti anni che uso Booking ho preso l'abbaglio: Booking confermerà o meno i miei dubbi. Mi limito al confort: in questa struttura non c'è alcuno spazio a disposizione degli ospiti: non c'è comodino, ripiano, angolo di pavimento, armadio, tavolo, sedia o altro che non sia già ingombrato dall' ”arte” della proprietaria. Persino i 4 appendiabiti “disponibili” ospitano i suoi vestiti. Poichè la cosa potrebbe essere oggetto di contestazione, allego foto a conferma di quanto dico: non avrete spazio per voi e la vostra roba nella camera da letto, in bagno ed in cucina. La rete del letto è in maglia metallica: tipologia che credevo scomparsa dagli anni '80 e relegata al setaccio nei cantieri edili. Purtroppo, più che un'artista, a me l'host è parsa una accumulatrice seriale, che non ha saputo chiudere il suo passato e crearsi spazi in cui sopravvivere decentemente: fin quando una lo fa a proprio carico, fatti suoi, ma se lo si fa sugli ospiti paganti il giudizio non può essere positivo. Se poi la stanza è risicata, con pochi decimetri di passaggio intorno a letto, qualche lamentela è mio diritto, ancora più se la casa, così ingombra di oggetti, risulta impossibile ad essere spolverata. Aggiungo inoltre che ogni cosa è datata, recuperata e arrangiata, con buona pace delle norme minime di sicurezza previste per chi opera nella accoglienza: le foto di collegamenti elettrici alquanto precari e antidiluviani e gli avventurosi paralumi ne siano riprova. Se non condividete pari gusto artistico quindi, evitate il posto.
