Monolocale ben tenuto, posizione ottima per andare allo stadio del Benfica, non vicino al centro ma raggiungibile in poche fermate di metro,ottima comunicazione,

pagamento non gestito da Booking, e una cauzione da 150€.

Tudo no geral, principalmente localização e prontidão dos responsáveis.

Algum ruido noturno do acesso dos moradores aos prédios.

Safety of the neighborhood with a small supermarket and a café just next door

The administrative hurdles for this property is quite unsettling for a short time rental; not only a security deposit of €150 is required to be paid outside Booking’s platform but Mrs. Monica, the host insisted that since I had made and paid for the reservation that I had the legal obligation to check-in online at the property despite my explanation that I was gifting the stay to a friend from out of town but wouldn’t stay there myself; host was aware that the actual guest had already formally checked-in the previous day. Guest was kept outside in the cold for 1h30 with luggage for and only gained access to the rental unit after Booking’s staff intervention upon my demand as me calling the property host on the phone to explain that I couldn’t check-in where I wouldn’t stay; my explanation was deemed not aligned with regulations and the host was adamant that if I didn’t check-in, not only their guest will not be given access to the property but that no visitors would be allowed on the premises that being a general house rule applied in all the 99 other properties they own. I had no other choice than to report this display of arrogance to the Booking’s platform requesting their intervention, which they did after which the guest was given access and I came to visit the very next day 😅 and guess what, there was no reception desk and the unit entrance door is basically directly accessible unchecked from anyone on the main street…so much for the fuss 🫩
