Very disappointing stay – nothing like the photos and description

I usually don't give this type of reviews, but we had a mixed stay at Panorama Bansko. On the positive side, the shuttle bus service is excellent – reliable and the drivers are very friendly and helpful. Also, the staff are genuinely nice and eager to assist, which was one of the few bright spots.

- The indoor pool shown in all the photos and mentioned in the facilities simply does not exist – not even for an extra fee. When we asked, they said “it hasn’t been working for years”. Then why is it still in the pictures? - The restaurant that appears in the photos no longer exists. There was no option to eat there (neither breakfast). - Bathroom: shower drain completely defective (water up to the ankles), mixer tap broken – you had a 50/50 chance of scalding yourself or freezing. The bathroom was cold with a very small electric radiator. - Heating: the only optio = old, uncontrollable electric radiators that smelled of burning dust. We were genuinely scared to leave them on overnight in case something caught fire. (The wires were getting very hot). - Access road to the parking lot was a sheet of ice the entire stay – not a single grain of salt or sand was spread. Cars and pedestrians were sliding everywhere. - Slippers mentioned in the room facilities – not provided. The property is falsely advertised on Booking.com – many promised facilities simply do not exist or haven’t existed for years. Either the reviews of this property on booking.com are fake or i had the worst room possible.

We loved the facilities. We played ping pong every night. Also breakfast was good.

The pool closes too early at 8. Barely have time to go after skiing.

Super friendly staff, clean and comfortable studio apartment. We had breakfast- nice and fresh. There was everything we needed right in the apartment. We only needed to stay for the night, but definitely recommend for longer stays as well.

Very nice and clean! Comfortable beds and nice room with balcony! Especially for the price it was really good!!

Superb

Small , but clean and very comfortable room/bed, nice small balcony, facing the mountains. Very nice view, no other hotels nearby/opposite from our site, really quiet and excellent for relaxing! The location is a bit tricky, but really once you get the message from the hotel and follow it - no problem! The host was very helpful! Really pleased with my stay in the hotel!

A bit more signs on the building would be very helpful - which is block C, which is block D, etc. The info that the reception is till 5pm could be send separately , so it gets more attention in advance ..

Excellent place if you have a pet

The view of the mountains was great! And the light! The apartment had so much natural light, we loved it. The staff is super helpful. We were missing a few things in the apartment and the staff arranged all of it to be delivered in 48 hrs. The building is pet friendly. And there's a large bushy area right outside. My dog loved taking afternoon walks there. If you have a pet this is the place to book, nature is important for my pets.

The apartment didn't seem to be ready for us when we arrived but the staff addressed it in 48 hrs. I would have liked to have it all fully stocked and ready, considering we were staying for 4 weeks and we were going to cook. So I would text them before hand to make sure the apartment is ready for your arrival

The worker checking us in was helpful with recommendations what to do in Bansko, the room and bathroom was very clean and comfortable, provided tea and coffee, a nice balcony area. Let us leave our bag after check out which was helpful!

Rustig met prachtig uitzicht, heerlijk binnenzwembad en behulpzaam, vriendelijk personeel

Het uitzicht op de bergen was fenomenaal. Rustig gelegen en je wandelt zo de bergen in. Heel vriendelijk personeel, van de schoonmaker tot aan de manager. De vriendelijke chauffeur van het transferbusje brengt je naar de Gondel en weer terug op gezette tijden. Geweldig groot binnen zwembad met goede spa

Veel appartementen zijn van eigenaren. Je moet het dus een beetje treffen met de eigenaar of die wat moeite en energie in het appartement heeft gestoken en het je wel of niet aangenaam wilt maken. Ons appartement was zuinig ingericht. Een enkel kookpannetje en net genoeg borden en bestek. Geen goede stoelen. Barkrukken te hoog en slaapbank was meer een stretcher waar je niet goed op kon zitten doordat er geen kussens waren. 15 minuten lopen naar Gondel en 20 minuten naar de oude stad.

Nu mi-a placut absolut nimic, de la camera, personal, conditii de cazare, intarziere la cazare, proprietar care a tipat la mine si mi-a spus get the ... out of here. I did't link anything, from the room, personnel, accomodation conditions, the delay in accomodation, the owner who screamed at me and told me to get the ... out of here.

Dupa ce am asteptat o ora, pentru ca nu era curatenia facuta, am fost cazati in doua apartamente mizerabile, in care era praf si mizerie peste tot, iar asternuturile si prosoapele erau murdare, probabil de la fostii clienti. Am sesizat receptia, ca urmare a venit domnul proprietar caruia i-am comunicat ca noi nu dorim sa mai stam in acea unitate de cazare, chiar daca a chemat menajerele sa faca curat. Efectiv nu aveam incredere sa mancam micul dejun si sa mergem la piscina in contextul apartamentelor mizerabile. Domnul proprietar a tipat la mine, mi-a spus sa plec ... de aici, ca nu ne da niciun ban inapoi. Zis si facut, nu am beneficiat de nicio noapte de cazare si am pierdut 1.600 euro... Am incercat sa facem reclamatie la Booking, insa am inteles ca nu pot asista, ca trebuie rezolvata situatia cu unitatea de cazare. Desi am scris nenumarata mailuri catre Hotel, am primit doar raspunsuri evazive, cum ca mi s-a oferit solutia sa se faca curat in apartamente, in conditiile in care noua ne era teama sa mai beneficiem de vreun serviciu de acolo, daca apartamentele au fost mizerabile cu totul. Nu recomand sub nicio forma! Noi practic am pierdut 1.600 euro la acest Hotel si a trebuit sa dublam costurile! After waiting for an hour, because the cleaning was not done, we were accommodated in two miserable apartments, where there was dust and dirt everywhere, and the sheets and towels were dirty, probably from former clients. I notified the reception, as a result the owner came to whom I communicated that we no longer want to stay in that accommodation unit, even if he called the housekeepers to clean. Indeed, we did not trust to eat breakfast and go to the pool in the context of the miserable apartments. The owner yelled at me, told me to leave ... from here, because he won't give us any money back. All said and done, I did not benefit from a single night's accommodation and lost 1,600 euros...
