A wonderful venue for a break - loved the flowing river view

Our host Eithne, on arrival was welcoming, warm and helpful. We were impressed after a long journey that basics for an arrival cuppa were provided. The whole experience of our stay was delightful and Eithne kept in touch to make sure we were ok.

Best accommodation I have stayed at in my many weekend breaks. Would heartily recommend.

Loved the cleanliness of the apartment. Additionally it was a lovely touch seeing the snacks left for us along with the bottles of water in the fridge, cheese and butter. I have stayed at many properties and this one was standout. Excellent all round and we will come back. Great reactivity and communication from Carmel.

The location was very central to areas we were visiting and the view from penthouse apartment was beautiful..

The cleanliness was not as luxurious as expected, nor were the facilities.. Dish washer was temperamental and the hot water system was desperate, causing us to use the kettle to wash dishes and our hair.. The WiFi was not working, we reported this but no effort was made to amend it, causing us to use over use our data allowance. The cutlery was grubby and also some saucepans, the fridge too was not fresh and the freezer box was very dirty. The windows were dirty leaving a feeling of grubbyness about the apartment. The lighting was not good either and there was just one wardrobe in the entire apartment for 4 people to use. One of the bedrooms did not have a dressing table or mirror and the other bedroom had no wardrobe.. Sadly this was not a luxury apartment as it’s advertised as.. I would give it 3* The host was very pleasant and left us milk and bread which was very kind of her.. would I recommend to a friend? unfortunately not.. we were disappointed as we had been looking forward to a staying in a “ luxury” apartment for the weekend!

Location was beautiful with balcony overlooking the river.Beds and bedding were super comfy with lovely Voya products in bathrooms.Warm welcome and friendly host . Would highly recommend.
