We loved it at Station House and will be back to stay again.

I will not be staying again.

Kitchen was well equipped and spacious. Bedrooms were nice. Plenty of towels available and toiletries which was good. Ample parking space outside the house. Satisfactory base for a family getaway.

Living area had only enough seating room for 4 people so we couldn't all relax there together unless we brought in kitchen chairs. The 2 small sofas available were quite uncomfortable. Doors, floors and beds upstairs were very squeaky so during the night, you could hear every movement when someone got up to use a bathroom or moved around their bedroom. Back garden could do with some tidying up. I did not meet the host during my stay, but I did receive a phone call from them afterwards because of an error THEY made with the payment. Unfortunately, I found the communication to be abrupt and bordering on rude, and I did not appreciate the tone that was used. For this reason, I will not be choosing to interact with them again and will not be returning to this property.

Great place to stay and use as a base to travel around Mayo!

Comfortable place in a quiet area just outside the town within walking distance. Clean and bright with all the basic needs catered for! Parking right outside the house. Little garden out the back for kids / quite time.

Ensuite shower not working at the time but ok as main bathroom one was.

Good location. Did not have right code to unlock key in email so needed to call host who got back quickly

House suited our needs for the stay. Only comment would be creaky floor boards so could hear each others whereabouts around the house

Great weekend away in Foxford.

Very spacious house Beds very comfortable Close to train station and foxford.

The water pressure for the shower in the main bathroom was very weak. We all ended up using the electric shower in the en suite. Which was great.

We were up in mayo to attend a show, I had an email from owner on booking with eircode and door code to gain entry and heating instructions etc, all good
