Deceptive listing, extremely rude proprietor. STAY AWAY!

To start, and on a positive note, the location was great. Very central to everything in Pittsburgh

Oh boy. Where to start? This has been my worst experience with Booking.com by far. In short, the owner of the property misrepresented the number of space for people to reasonably sleep. My family of five was essentially stuck with room for three people to sleep. Also, the parking situation was less than ideal. The booking lists “private parking“ but the option they give is for a $26 valet for overnight parking. From what I could see, no other options were given. Additionally, the registration process was particularly arduous. In the past, when I have booked through Booking.com, I just enter my info and get my room. However, in this case, once I submitted my payment, I received an email that required me to do several other steps, including sending picture ID via email. I also had to fill out an additional form with the realty company. The whole reason I use Booking.com in the first place is to avoid this kind of inconvenience. The property was not clean. They were hairs in the shower and an absolutely disorganized mess of a closet full of sheets, hanging to dry, etc. when I addressed Erica, the proprietor, about this, she was very passive aggressive and extremely rude. I would caution folks to stay away from this place at all costs.

Very positive, would rent here again

Valets were great, Elevators were the best, great view from the unit, Eddie Merlots Restaurant next door was great to get to in the pouring rain, plenty of room in the unit.

Apartment furnishings were very spartan, need a TV in the bedroom, cabinets were fairly empty, need a real dining table.

A clean place in a great location!

The proximity to things in the city was amazing. It was easy to get anywhere and we walked everywhere. The apartment was very clean and very new. The bed was comfortable along with all the linens.

Unfortunately, that also meant we were in the middle of loud traffic that lasted all night long. The apartment was a bit sparse (the cupboards wer mostly empty; there could've been a dinner table to sit at with all the space; the bedroom needs a dresser or two). The bathtub wouldn't stop dripping.

No tv in the bedroom was a bit underwhelming considering the price per night works out to about $187.50. The parking situation is inconvenient. $26 a night to park. There was an old man who was one of the valleys complained about how he hated his job he was swearing up and down. Unpleasant. Not the hosts fault tho.

I liked the location, size of the room, and cleanliness. All new floors, appliances etc. Erica, the landlord, was extremely nice and answered all questions in a very timely manner.

I didn't like that there was no TV in the bedroom.

Great location in downtown Pittsburgh for a good price. The valet parking service is a big help compared to the other nearby parking options that are more expensive. The check-in an check-out process was smooth.

There were no extra blankets, so for a one person stay it would have been fine, but for a two person+ trip, having more blankets would have been a good option if both the bed in the bedroom and the sofa bed are being used.
