    I had a very pleasant stay at Station Hotel Nagasaki Suwa. The customer service was excellent, and the staff member who helped me on September 5th provided the kind of great, old-fashioned customer service that is becoming increasingly rare. She was genuinely helpful and went out of her way to assist me. The room was very clean and modern, with some excellent touches, including a foot massage machine and charging cables provided in the room. Overall, this was great value for money, and I would happily stay here again.

    I arrived at the hotel thinking it had a completely normal hotel reception and I would check-in with the help of the staff but when I arrived shortly after 4 PM, I saw nobody. I was trying to contact the hotel staff and waited there for over an hour until someone finally came and helped me check-in. The thing is, I was supposed to receive an email/message from them with the check-in instructions as well as my room number but I never got any message, no email either (yes, I checked the spam folder too). That was a big disappointment right from the start but to my surprise everything else about the hotel was good. I wouldn't say it's the best but it's clean, pleasant and I had a good overall experience.

    The hotel has really good facilities for the price, including an electric foot massager in the room! It is super clean and comfortable.

    A bit far from all the attractions in town and not cheap for the weekend, though laundry was free with detergent provided and that was exactly what I needed for the weekend so I appreciate that.
