Self check-in and check-out processes were very convenient and simple. The room is very clean and neatly organised. The room is also very spacey when you compare it to other accommodations. It felt like home in our short stay here. Shower is very modern and good-looking, and the room comes with its own bathtub. We also used the in-room top loader washing/drying machine, which was very simple to use.

強いていうなら、お風呂に椅子があれば良かったかも？子供はしんどいと言ってました。使いたい人だけ使えるように折りたたみ式の椅子でもいいかもしれない

All the glowing reviews are true - this place is pristine with spacious accommodations. So let me speak to the truly amazing location which I did not truly appreciate until I arrived and explored over the next three days. It’s one block from the river with the famous Spectacles Bridge just around the corner. One block past the river you will find yourself in the middle of the six-block long historical Nakadori shopping district. Turn left and wander a couple of blocks to one end where you’ll see Curry of Grandpa with excellent take out food made by the friendly and gracious owner. Head back down the way you came and stop at Cafe Pesca for one of their 15 flavors of smoothies. When you reach the covered shopping area and the 7/11, you’ll know you’ve reached the other end of Nakadori. Those who have read this far and like to discover off the beaten path places will now be richly rewarded. It’s hard to find breakfast spots in Japan but at this corner is a cafe on the second floor with the most wonderful ambiance, delicious breakfast, and excellent coffee created by the owner. He’ll greet you gruffly but kindly, confirm that you’re there for the 900 yen ($5) breakfast set and start cooking for you. See the pictures I posted to help you find the place (same side of the street as 7/11 but on the opposite of the entrance to the covered shopping street). This was my favorite place to eat in Nagasaki and I wish I’d found it sooner!

BE SURE you fill out the online form and submit your passport photo well in advance so that you get their email the day before you arrive with your check-in code. There is no staff regularly on site but if you come prepared, it should not be an issue.
