About this cabin rental
Lakefront cabin steps from Gardner Lake, Whiting, Maine. Tile floors, wood interior, Deck/ grill. Shared water access with adjacent cabin. Wi Fi. No cable. Monthly discounts. Shorter or longer stays may be available by contacting owner. No pets. No smoking or vaping. One bedroom and only one bathroom. New queen size bed in bedroom and new full size sleeper sofa in living area. Site says the bedroom sleeps 4 but the bedroom sleeps 2 and the sleeper in the living area sleeps 2.
Awesome sunsets from the deck. The moon rise is often hidden behind the cabin but can often be seen once it has come up and sometimes in the morning in the fall and spring over the lake. Osprey and Eagles are often seen fishing in the cove.
We have a beaver swimming the cove this year. Unfortunately due to insurance, I am unable to offer the Kayaks and canoe at at this time. Sunrise kayak and canoe rents and will deliver. Swimming. Bring water shoes. Lily Pad during summer season for use. Large and small mouth bass, pickerel, perch and salmon.

Cabin right on the page was perfect. Lake is gorgeous. View is 180. Beautiful deck and furniture. Cabin is updated and lovely. Kitchen is nicely sized and very well furnished. Bathroom is also nicely sized and very nice. Living room is very comfortable, well sized, lots of windows, good tv... all good. Bedroom is small but very workable, bed is very comfortable. Host was very nice.

Everything was great. Our guest was so accommodating. The location was perfect as it was close to family and where we had spent our summers as children.

This was a perfectly peaceful and relaxing stay. The host thought of everything! The lapping water on the lake was a soothing background night and day. There is a road nearby, but the traffic is so minimal that it doesn’t take away from the experience at all. We packed a cooler because there’s not much nearby for restaurants, but that was fine because we didn’t have much desire to go anywhere. We had one slight issue that was immediately addressed within minutes with multiple apologies. We didn’t want to leave and will definitely be back!
