This apartment was not the one I had selected. There was a problem with the booking. I'm not sure, but it looks like vrbo made a mistake, did not communicate well with their partner in France, and forgot to cancel this host's account. The host thought the account had been cancelled and wasn't aware of my booking. As a result, the apartment was double booked. It was not a very good experience, as the apartment we finally had to go to was not as good as the one I had first selected but I was left with no other choice.
