Spacious vacation home with plenty of room for a relaxing vacation Located right in a quiet neighborhood on the outskirts of Dornum, with sweeping views of the natural surroundings, this spacious vacation home offers approximately 225 square meters of living space. The home provides plenty of room for a relaxing and restful vacation. In addition, you’ll have access to four parking spaces, two large bathrooms with natural light, three bedrooms, a reading room, and a large living room with a 57-inch flat-screen TV, as well as a large, modern U-shaped kitchen featuring an induction cooktop, two ovens, and a microwave. Enjoy the sun on our huge, south-facing wooden deck, which is about 40 square meters, or on the smaller wooden terrace, which is about 16 square meters, facing west and overlooking a small pond. The 860-square-meter property is completely fenced in and overgrown at the rear, providing plenty of space for your dog to run around. Thanks to the generous living area of 225 square meters, there’s plenty of room for up to 6 people to relax. The town center, with its supermarkets, a pharmacy, two doctors’ offices, a bike rental shop, and restaurants, is about 900 meters away. The North Sea resort of Dornumersiel, with its harbor, beach area, and swimming pool, is about 5 km away. Just one coastal town over, in Neßmersiel, you can take the ferry daily to the East Frisian island of Baltrum and, on certain days, to Langeoog as well. Right from your front door, you can embark on extensive bike rides or hikes through the beautiful East Frisian countryside. A very well-signposted network of bike paths leads you to the center of nearly every town. The historic town center is about 1 km from your accommodation. Here you’ll find several supermarkets, as well as two bakeries and small, quaint shops where you can purchase just about any regional souvenir. The historic castle, the post mill dating from 1628, the moated castle, and the historic church with its Holy organ—which often hosts “night organ” concerts on Fridays during the season—are also located right in the town center. The North Sea resort of Dornumersiel is situated directly on the North Sea coast, offering a breathtaking panoramic view of the offshore islands of Baltrum and Langeoog. Everything is close together and easily accessible on foot: the sandy and grassy beach with a children’s playground, soccer and beach volleyball fields, a surfing zone and kite-flying area, the heated seawater outdoor pool, the campground on the North Sea beach, and the fishing boat and yacht harbor. The heart of Dornumersiel is the idyllic “Mahlbusen” reservoir, which is perfect for strolling, boating, and fishing. SeeparkWest, a modern themed spa park, charmingly connects the fishing village with the harbor and beach area. In the town itself, there are restaurants and cafés serving regional delicacies such as fish, salt marsh veal, lamb, homemade East Frisian cake, and aromatic East Frisian tea.
