This was more than we asked for: a quiet surrounding, close to the forest, nice and well equipped holidayhome. We could start our daily walks from there, only 100 m from the forest and fields. We could make short or long loops, between 5 and 16 km, spot the works of the beaver, came across some deer and come back to a warm and cosy place. The owners placed a X-mas tree and lights so that we really had the Christmas atmosphere. Comfortable beds, warm water in the shower and no disturbing noises. Absolutely wonderful. If you want to visit a town, Trier is a short drive away.
