This vacation rental, newly renovated in 2023, is located on the first floor of our Grimburg country house.
With an area of approximately 90 square meters, it features 1 bedroom, a kitchen, a dining room with an adjoining living room, a bathroom, and a spacious hallway.
Large windows give the rooms a warm and bright atmosphere and offer a view of the beautiful countryside.
Both the apartment and the garden with its terrace are accessible without any stairs or steps.
There are also no barriers within the living area—it is at ground level and fully accessible without steps.
The large, very well-equipped kitchen invites you to prepare delicious meals for yourself and your loved ones, which you can enjoy in the dining room at a table that seats 6 people.
A small, cozy reading nook with a recliner, a floor lamp, and a sideboard filled with books is the perfect spot to relax and/or browse through books.
In the adjoining living room, you’ll find a flat-screen TV, DVD player, stereo system, and a wide selection of interesting books, games, and puzzles for all ages—plenty of options to keep you entertained no matter the weather...
The bedroom is furnished with a double bed (200x200 cm), a wardrobe, and a dresser with a wall mirror. The beds are freshly made, and additional blankets and pillows are provided upon request.
A cleaning service is available during your stay.
The bathroom features a walk-in shower, a toilet, a vanity unit, and a washer-dryer.
Dogs allowed upon request—please feel free to contact us in advance.
For our four-legged guests, we provide separate towels, a cozy blanket, or a dog bed, as well as food and water bowls, upon request.
Up-to-date and interesting information about the region and local events is available on a separate shelf in the living area.
A lockable storage room, e.g., for sports equipment, is available. The apartment can be booked online via electronic booking systems.

Our country house is located in a quiet, out-of-town setting in the tranquil village of Grimburg, a town with approximately 500 residents.
Surrounded by the beech and spruce forests of the Hochwald, you can choose between our vacation apartment on the first floor or our vacation apartment on the first floor to enjoy your well-deserved vacation.
Our ground-floor vacation rental is fully accessible, and there are no stairs, steps, or other obstacles inside the unit either.
This makes the unit suitable for people with disabilities.
The garden with a terrace, which is shared by both units, is also fully accessible.
Set out on hikes along the Saar-Hunsrück-Steig or the “Traumschleifen” trails in the Saar-Hunsrück Nature Park. Explore unspoiled forests in the Hunsrück-Hochwald National Park. Cycle along the Ruwer-Hochwald Bike Trail, which follows the route of the former railroad line from Hermeskeil to Trier.
Or take day trips to discover romantic towns and beautiful landscapes along the Moselle, Saar, Nahe, and Rhine—the excellent access to the A1 offers many options…
There is a spacious parking space available for each apartment at both the front and back of the building.
A newly installed photovoltaic system and a new heat pump heating system connected to it provide the apartments’ own energy and heat supply and contribute to sustainability.
Both vacation apartments have been completely renovated; the one on the first floor was completed in August 2020, and the one on the first floor in September 2023.
Both apartments are furnished in a modern country house style.

Upon your arrival, you’ll find freshly made beds as well as hand and bath towels for the number of guests.
